Absolute belter of a track - Harder 80's period is a good referance but that might not tempt some, dont let that pointer put you off. It really is a great track.

He's never going to play and maybe he shouldnt, the set in 2000 was one of my favourite festival sets of all time and he couldnt possible better it.

I'd still love it if he did though...

the few reviews of his new album that are out have been hugely positive (maybe overly-so as one said it was up there with his best, which i would love, but is unlikely). the new track is very good though. very excited for the new album

Would be interested to know the legal arrangements that artists make about "future use" of any recordings from their performances. The Orbital triple disc release should not be the only thing that Glasters releases.

As physical media requires different rights which are probably a headache to sort out for every different band who will want what they consider to be their fair share of the pie etc.

In fact I'm surprised they manage to screen the festival at all, however the BBC is unusual in the sense that it has a blanket agreement with the music industry unlike other broadcasters which allows it to pay an annual flat fee rather than royalties per song (allowing them to use some really big songs/acts as much as they want). This may extend to live performances which is why you see a lot more of Glasto on BBC than you see of V Festival on ITV. Maybe.
