I'm going to clinch at really small straws now, but a tour page at www.davidbowie.com was made a few days ago, that didn't exist before and isn't on any links on the website. Just from a logical point of view, why the hell would that be made if nobody was anticipating it to be used?

/this means it's 100% confirmed you know

Another thing to consider is that if he were to play live after such a long time, he would have to get a band playing the songs together again, and at least put practice in. I remember Pulp saying they had to put their back into rehearsing the songs to be good live again. It's quite obvious that no such practice has happened with a band, and so I can't see him doing a show in 6 months time. That said, I really have no clue how long it would take to get 25 songs rehearsed and sounding good

Isit quite obvious that no such practice has happened with a band? Is was absolutely obvious that he had done sod all for years until the single turned up...

The people around him had been lying through their teeth to conceal what was going on, they could just as easily be doing the same surely?

Having said this, sadly I dont think there is a chance at all of him playing, I would be chuffed to bloody bits if he was playing but my head is saying no and my heavy heart says the same :-(
