So that's 3 of us. I wonder who the other 27 people in the tent were?

27 very happy-they-made-the-right-choice people!

Brilliant wasn't it? Loved their stroll through the crowd with the drums.

Yeah, and the bit where the lead guitarist and bassist exchanged guitars mid-song by throwing their guitars at each other, never missing a beat.... Praying for a return from these inspired boogie-merchants

We know that the headliners, on the Pyramid, get a fraction of what they might get at other festivals. I wonder what the comparison would be for someone like ZZ Top, who are headliner status at some festivals, compared to maybe topping the West Holts stage? Financially, I'd imagine it's a no-brainer.

Seems the Pyramid headliners get paid 25% of where they would elsewhere so ZZ Top would probably lose, what, 85-90%? A free gig in their minds basically.

The power of the Beeb is obviously not being sold to bands as much as it should.

3 of them were me and 2 mates who also would rather see some old school rock n roll instead of being way down the back for a country artist we only knew the `hits` for......one of the great things about glasto discovering new music, all stars were awesome!

picture during the set http://tinypic.com/r/11h5vdt/8can any efesters see themselvers?

That's me with the cheapo Glastonbury Stetson at the front

Palling up with Weezer is nowhere near as heinous as hanging around with Kid Rock and lending his voice to Nickelback's Rock Star.

Nickelback........... sorry.  That band is so wrong. Seems like they are the result of a mentally ill IT geek that listened to saddo 'rock'that came up with an alogrythm that could reproduce an average sound of all the shoite rock bands.

Saddest band from Sad Town in Saddestrockband County.

Spotted this on Festileaks boards. Courtesy of Google translate:

ZZ Top comes in June and July 2016 for 20 concerts, which are all part of their new roadshow to Europe. The Hell Raisers Tour kicks off in Birmingham to travel further then to the renowned Glastonbury Festival in Pilton. Then the band to mainland Europe is going to include performances in France, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Belgium and the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland where they recorded their DVD "Live at Montreux 2013".

thank you Heineken Music Hall for that!!! seems pretty valid leak...well found by you!

i was looking at their dates this past weekend in fact, looking for patterns as for which day, etc... it seems like they do have a few 3 days-in-a-row slots fit in, so that doesn't rule out sunday, but that would be 6 gigs over 7 days, so my money is on saturday, only being that a night gig in Birmingham thursday vs a possible 5pm slot friday being too much of a turnaround for them...

surely it's Adele/PJ Harvey/ZZ Top on the pyramid saturday...can u imagine?
