BlackHole2006
If they headlined I wouldn't be surprised but I wouldn't go see them either. IMO they are fucking shit in a cup.
ItsBadForYa
As someone said earlier, I'm secretly hoping they are headlining one of the nights, as I won't be anywhere near them and I can get down to the south-east corner nice and early. Badlands
Because of the Times was a beaut of an album but the one after was utter horse shit. And after seeing the video of the lead single from the last release, I steered clear completely. I think my problem was a total disregard for musical progression from them to grab the buck and just put a commercial sheen on everything. MEGABOWL
It was a little tongue in cheek but when I think I enjoyed Coldplay last year, would almost certainly watch KOL or the Killers and don't much care for Radiohead, it makes me wonder what I hear that others don't, or vice versa! drewsstrat
I hope not. Apart from a few songs I don't think their inspiring choice, I've watched their recent uk festival sets and thought they didn't connect with the crowd whatsoever
Dark Star
if KoL play then i insist upon there being a pigeon loft installed inside the Pyramid's rafters.
Joeskeppi
I'd watch KoL, Manhattan is one of my favourite tunes ever, doubt they'd play that though.
let's 'ave it!!!
Why do people think they're too cool to like KoL?! admittedly their last album was average but their first 3 abums were great and OBTN is a pretty good album too. Mud Dweller
Last two albums were hideous, generic overproduced Bryan Adams shite Edited November 8, 2012 by Mud Dweller
danbailey80
It's not an issue of being commercial or suddenly being shit because they had a hit with Sex on Fire (which if it hadn't been a hit you would all say was a great song) The issue is that they are not a good live act. That simple.

TheParkAfterDark
Hit or no hit, its fucking dreadful. "Your Sex is on Fire"? WTF? Awful title, awful lyrics, awful melody, awful verses, awful chorus, awful production, awful guitar lines, awful vocals. Just awful.

strummer77
Too cool? The first 2 albums are good and the rest is just awful. Awful cynical shit. In 2004 I blagged a VIP ticket and was sitting beside them back in the hospitality bar. Gave them a nod, they waved back, amid a cliud of weed smoke. Seemed like nice guys, unaffected, good rock and roll band. And then they turned into a load of fucking divas, bowing to the record company. "Your Sex is on Fire"?! Sure it is lads. The song should be deleted from the world. Its a stain on humanity.
a_kelaz
For the people who hate sex on fire: Do u think KOL can really help it if one of their songs became so popular? its not their fault millions bought it. Do u think they sat down and wrote the song thinking well I hope some people like it...? or that they hoped a lot of people would like it? This is their job to make music and to make money. Saying they are sell-outs is extreme, they just changed their image, like arctics, coldplay, linkin park and michael jackson did....although he went a bit far.... People hate it when a smaller band that they liked becomes bigger, just for the sheer fact that they 'found them first' etc. it doesn't mean u still cant enjoy them perform. and those that say they are shit live have to be kidding me,they sound cd perfect everytime ive seen them, and the crowd goes nuts still for four kicks etc... Joeskeppi
Aside from Sex on Fire what other songs are people up in arms about? A lot of Come Around Sundown wasn't like Sex on Fire at all. This all screams a bit hipster to me.
