Plenty of bargains on the psn sale at the moment, plus borderlands 2 on ps+ free, my ps3 is getting more use than my ps4.

Also rumours of tesco and asda selling ps3 slims for around £100 on boxing day, absolute bargain at that price!

alright, quick question for those with ps+:

you know the cloud service where you can upload your data, can you then download it onto a new ps3 as my one is on its way out, so i wan't to see if its worth buying a new one and then transferring the data over so i don't have to restart all the games again

Seems the supermarkets have been having a clear out of PS3's in the past week.

Have a look in.

I got the Family Guy game today from Tesco for £10, yeah its probably crap, but im a fan so I don't mind blowing a tenner on it.

From Asda I got Aliens CM limited Edition for £5 and Playstation battle royal all stars or whatever its called for £10 thats for both PS3 and Vita versions.

Average to cacky games I know but still.

Started Last of Us last week too, but haven't had long to get into it.

Jump, you're quite right, it is 3D World. I was just too excited to get the name right ;)

It really is excellent though, so much fun. The wife and I have started it as well, great multiplayer game.

How are the other games on it? For me 3D World looks like the only must have game but in the last few months there have been a few others that have pipped my intrest like Wonderful 101, ZombiU and Pikmin 3.

Sleeping Dogs free on Xbox today.

Came on here to post the same thing. Of course they have until the 15th of January to get it.

It's amazing. Few open-world games compare favourably to it: GTA V, SR2, RDR, JC2. It's in that league, and not and the bottom of that list either. Genuinely interesting (if plagiarised) story and support characters, not only the tech (driving, combat, world) was done right, they nailed the FEEL of the Hong Kong "heroic bloodshed" genre.

It's the Bruce Lee of sandbox games, easily the best game MS have put on this offer.

2013's greatest gaming moment... The solo eggplant run on Spelunky

http://www.polygon.com/2013/12/23/5227726/anatomy-of-a-spelunky-miracle-or-how-the-internet-finally-beat

Even if you've never played it its worth a read. Its an ridiculously difficult feat. It's not even supposed to be possible in single player. BananasaurusRex is the king of Spelunky and I salute him

So Spelunky is essentially Mario with different levels every time you play rather than 30 or so levels?

But there must be something similar about the levels for everyone doing "Eggplant run" to be able to say it's hard? Maybe this guy just got lucky and got an easier version? (Because the levels are different? :S)
