2013 Headliners

not everyone is predicting tool

but otherwize they could easily tour a few months after as tool. (think of PJ and SG this year )

Over the past 2 years Tool have toured a different region, they did Australia (Big Day Out iirc?) in 2011, with summer A Perfect Circle dates in the US/Canada. This year they've done Tool at the beginning of the year in the USA, and plan on doing APC dates in Australia in January next year. So it definitely doesn't mean Tool won't be touring Europe this summer, if anything I think next year is likely the year they'll return to here seeing as they've been hitting a different place every year.

on the subject of faked posters, has a poster ever been genuinely leaked on here? maybe in the early days? or have they all been faked??

there was probably a time where a "leaked poster" was real, but those days are long gone. (when people were less inclined to make fake lineup posters)

there was probably a time where a "leaked poster" was real, but those days are long gone. (when people were less inclined to make fake lineup posters)

the only genuine "leaked posters" I can remember have been from someone getting hold of NME from the printers (before it hits the stands), and just one occasion when posters got put up in tube stations before the announcement had been made.

Download's Facebook page has put a status saying, "Iron Maiden, Rammstein and..." Could this mean an announcement in the coming days?

Vodafone just sent out a press release on facebook saying buy tickets for Download festival early to see headliners Pearl Jam, Iron Maiden and Rammstein.

Meh, I was hoping for someone other than Pearl Jam so I can justify going for the weekend, may just go Rammstein now or see if they are playing any more intresting Euro fests next summer.

You gotta say though that is three big headliners for Download. 2 of which have never played before and 1 who hasn't for 6 years, so thats good going by Andy, even though I hate to stroke his ever expanding ego

Once confirmed the grunge band fronted by Eddie Vedder will bring their upbeat guitar anthems to Donington Park on the opening night. Iron Maiden have already been confirmed to headline Saturday, and Rammstein the Sunday. There are no other acts confirmed yet for 2013.
