Yeah, thanks for that :)

I may try it. So at worst if it was disallowed and I did it could I be kicked off the scheme, or would I actually be kicked off the site too?

Sorry to butt in, lurking again, but certainly with Oxfam if they judge you to have broken the rules enough to be blacklisted they try and hunt you down and kick you off site as quickly as possible too.

Aye I was talking to someone this morning who's considering a day ticket for QOTSA but because of them not playing last at Leeds doesn't know if it'll be worth it (and not really wanting to see anyone else).

I get what you mean and I think if I was going for the day I would have gone for that day as QOTSA and Enter Shikari and two of my favourite bands and I'd have plenty to see but even then at £100 it would have taken some serious consideration and QOTSA not playing in the dark would have been a factor too for me

I originally read that as "Oxfam judge you if you have broken ribs"

Just thought I let you know

That's mainly for bad behaviour on site, or failing to turn up to shifts. If you turn up to all your shifts, on time, perform them fine and don't do anything stupid then they won't go finding where you camp and kicking you out.

I'm thinking the 'arena sized band' for the secret set could be Foo Fighters. They're doing TribFest the weekend before Reading, then UK dates after. Plus Dave Grohl has stated before how much he loves playing the festival.

But then this is Melvin so I shouldn't really get my hopes up.

I think you're looking at the dates of a tribute band.

You could be right as clicking on the ticket info it's £10 a ticket. *Facepalm* I should really look at the websites I click on properly.

I still stand by it though. Big announcement Monday apparently, that'll be the UK tour. Pre-emptive rumour mill.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
