Yeah I loved that! I remember when I saw Editors last year, and Tom came out to begin the encore with No Sound But The Wind, and someone on the front row had the Spain vs Portugal penalties in the Euros on his phone, holding it up so everyone could see, and there were random bursts of cheers and boos as Tom played. He must have wondered what was going on.

Already playing the O2 twice in May. Just announced Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and another O2 date for later in the year/January 2014.

Just seen Bat For Lashes is supporting on some American dates. Hope that happens here if I end up going. Probably going to depend on whether I go to Rock Werchter or not. Times like this I wish I had a job.

Looks quite good but I feel sort of bad for The Cribs playing on that bill.

Also, it looks as though if they were to play R+L this year (as many have hoped and pencilled in on suggestions/predictions) they'd have to play Reading Friday, Leeds Saturday and Portsmouth Sunday. Unlikely then I suppose.

£15 to see The Cribs & Maximo Park ain't bad, but yeah means you lot will probably have to go without The Cribs for a year

I'm not, Trent is my firm though so provided I get the grades I'll be there from September

So unfortunately I can't help you too much, although I do know Nottingham supposedly has the most bars, pubs and clubs per square mile than any other city in Europe You've also obviously go Rock City, Rescue Rooms and the arena as well. From what I've seen its a really nice city.

Trent is such a nice looking uni, bang next to Rock City as well isn't it? Nottingham's a nice place, they must have about 20 Subway's in and around the centre

are people kidding? nottinghams a shit hole. Being a student will always be fun and you'll have a blast, but going round the cities i'd say its 1 of the worst.

Shit hole is harsh! It's not one of the most interesting places but the city centres a nice place, pretty scared of being stabbed outside of that though

I start making my choices in September and right now I'm thinking Sussex, so I can travel down to Brighton and chant we are the mods the beach while listening to courteeners

Brighton is lush, probably my favourite place in the UK after London.
