Yeah I'll decide soon, it's just how much it'll cost to get there. The lineup's easily worth the ticket price for me: Sigur Ros, Bloc Party, Biffy Clyro, Blur, Kings of Leon, Rammstein, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Editors, Depeche Mode I'd all pay decent money to see.

The Friday at Werchter looks very tasty - FIDLAR/BRMC/Vampire Weekend/The National/Green Day is a great run, and that's missing Sigur Ros as well - but the other days look decidely iffy (for me).

Also I assume they have stages other than the three that have been announced?

You use tickets in the Arena as far as I know. Stands outside take cash and you can buy your tickets outside the arena, I'm not sure whether its to regulate income or stop theft but a lot of euro festivals seem to do it, others will probably know better than me :)

I think it's mostly the fact I watch Editors' Werchter set from last year so much that's got me most excited. I absolutely love that set, and would love to see a headline set of theirs this year. Will make up for their shite position at Leeds. :)

    • Yep, honestly this seems like the most likely option right now.
    • Agree. Also there was a lot more crossing over between stages. I know they need to put the cure, the xx and Gorillaz on the main stages but if they could have put your Blood Orange, Big Thief, Baxter Dury on Cupra and Occident with Jade and Pinkpantheress on the main stages, it would have been a massive improvement.
    • 100% THIS! I haven't quite been able to put my finger on it, but I think you've just nailed why I didn't enjoy this year as much as usual. In last years edition, the likes of Slowdive or Big Thief would have had evening slots at Cupra or Occident, instead of being shoved on to the main stages during the day. Apart from the very biggest acts (ie The Cure, the pop headliners), most performances at Mordor just lack that special "wow, I'm so lucky to be here" feeling that I remember from the Jesus Lizard and Anhoni sets that you've mentioned.  Sidenote: I wonder if there's a decent chunk of ticket holders that gravitate towards Mordor simply because it's the biggest stage, without really caring who's playing at that time, thus the increased (and incredibly noticeable) yapping.
