Looking at that poster makes me realise how disappointed i'm gonna be when blur aren't announced haha

Literally, if on that poster you swopped the positions of Eminem and Black Sabbath with each other, then replaced Black Sabbath with blur, so Eminem is above SOAD and blur are above xx, that lineup would be fantastic. For my tastes anyway, Editors headlining NME opposite Eminem would be ideal.

They play academies, headlining the Kerrang tour, new album just about made the top 20... seems about right. Maybe one slot lower, but I don't think it's all that unreasonable really.

I'd prefer Metric to headline a tent, I saw them open the mainstage at Wireless last year and in that 30ish mins there wasn't enough time for them to plug the new album and play a few hits, it just left me wanting more.

It's funny, I saw Foals 2 years ago now and would never have predicted them having a number 1 album one day. Great news for the band. Holy Fire is a fantastic album. I'd say 4th for sure but 3rd isn't out of the question, especially with the way Radio 1 have been pushing them.

Why? TLF went in the top 10 and had a lot more promo record and single wise than Holy Fire.

They were supporting Deaf Havana (I think) in a tiny venue at 3 in the afternoon on a Sunday and at the time I was going to 3 or 4 gigs a week and generally most bands don't get number 1 albums. I loved them but I just thought they'd be another small town band that had a loyal fanbase but not much else in means of crossover success (ala KIGH, Swellers etc.) It's great that I was wrong though. Good to see people are buying good music.
