If this Roger Waters with special guest Eddie Vedder set is anything to go by, they're gonna have the Nirvana members with some random person who looks like, but sounds nothing like Paul McCartney.

EDIT: Spoke too soon it seems. Genuinely thought that they were gonna pass that guy off as Eddie Vedder.

The Waters/Vedder performance of Comfortably Numb was my favourite of the entire show. Absolutely mind blowing.

Also, I saw Thin Lizzy again last night, it's supposed to be their "farewell tour" but they ended it by saying "We'll be back again real soon" so yeah, I'd like to see them on the Leeds line up somewhere. I get a lot of stick for liking them because they aren't 'the real Thin Lizzy' but they put on an awesome show and it's the only chance I get to hear Thin Lizzy songs live so fuck it, I really enjoy watching them play. An NME slot would be great.

Now will be shocked if they are not playing.

hmmm, not sure of that. I'm starting to think that if they do do a UK festival, it'll be V.

But I'm not entirely sure if they will do a UK festival. Word I heard is that they won't, tho I do have trouble believing that because it just seems too unlikely; but it might be true.

It would be a bit of a surprise if they did dates so close to v and leeds and did not take the money.

maybe they want to keep a bit of mystique to the Blur name by not being around all the time, in a similar way to the stones?

It's probably a method that would pay-off better over all the years to come, as well as them not having to work so hard.

    • No dramas man, I just like to follow others journeys as well. Get the inspiration, give out inspiration and the outdoors is the clear the head place to do it. I'm heading out for a easy trail run today I think, 10k- 10 mile we'll see how we go. I've got a half marathon in October I'm well unprepared for hahs
    • The Cheap Thrills at Mountford Hall, Liverpool.    They've been around for a while and have built up a large local following. Last night was their biggest yet, at a sold out 2,200 capacity venue.    It was a big old joyous, indie singalong from start to finish, the band clearly having the time of their lives. The debut album is out next month and they seem to be going down well on the festival circuit, maybe their time has finally come.   2 supports, I unfortunately missed Credits but the few songs they have on Spotify sound good, Americana vibes. The other was M60, reportedly Gary Neville's favourite band. If that's true, he's as clueless about music as he is football. To be fair, their sound was poor, maybe with a clearer sound they'd have been better but it was pretty dull.
    • I can see them all merging along with the Tory’s . Restore curently couldn’t muster enough candidates to be a viable option . I lasted 4 mins and couldn’t watch any more . Lowe is just dull along with racist
