I really don't know how big Band Of Horses are. Are they big enough to headline the FR?

The Joy Formidable have been there every year for the past 4-5 years or something. They might take a break next year with the new album and then come back much higher the year after. Something like Frank Turner is hoping to do I think.

They wouldn't be allowed anywhere near the top of the main stage, in fact I doubt they'd be approached at all.

You hipsters need to realise that when Reading gets accused of being a hipster festival it's due to the fashion sense, not the music :P

I've only got two questions.

Anyone reckon Queens of the stone age could headline? New album coming, brilliant band, incredible live and they more then deserve it!

Also how about System Of a Down? Headliner or Sub? Reckon they could play?

    • There’s a few in there which could go either way or I’m not bothered if I miss but think that’s now be pretty set.  Few rubbish clashes like Kasabian/Loyle plus Reytons/Pixies/CMAT but I’ll head with the lads to the most popular one.   (And yes no Byrne or Twigs, just can’t into either)
    • I saw somewhere they were advertising Lewis' day as him live on Glagow Green and only mentioned Amy Mcdonald and CMAT as support, 0 mention of the festival  I completely agree this will probably be the last one which is a shame because the first 2 seemed so promising and now its turned into middle of the road rubbish with acts you can see everywhere else  Anyone know if the BBC are covering it next week as it'll be fascinating to see how full (or empty) it is
    • Did anyone catch Viagra Boys last night? A rollicking good set, with a little more free jazz than I expected.   if you’re up early, Walabi is doing a super job in the Cupra Pulse. There till six.

    • They really dropped a bollock on their lineup this year. They went with Richard Ashcroft because he did well as Oasis support - But realistically, you're not getting 50k people in a field to hear the 4 or 5 songs they know at like £70+ a ticket. Can't get my head around the Kasabian booking, either. Finsbury Park was a bold move for them, and yes it sold out, but I think you're more likely to see people make the journey to London if they want to see them rather than Glasgow. A second similar capacity show was always going to be a big ask for them.
