Doubt it. Loads of bands don't like being show on live TV. Not sure why in some cases, but i'd assume the Heaton Park gig will more than likely be a DVD at some point. Not going to want the same reunion concert on youtube too.

I assume that's why? eFestivals or someone in the biz will probably know. I'd be curious.

I think he got rid of his band for a reason and wanted to pull the slot off on his own. As good as i thought he was, he does need more new material, but when you're turning out the crowd that he did on that stage, he's not complaining. He has incredible stage presence and hearing written in the stars is never dull but maybe that's my liking of catchy songs coming out. I'm defo not saying he's the most talented person out there but sometimes you like to see someone who'll just give you a good fun time and a jump around :).

No doubt they'll get him back next year. Honestly think next year could be great. Think of the lack of bands around this year compared to next year and who#'s bringing stuff out.

I enjoyed Kaiser Chiefs but for their older stuff and they proved also with a huge crowd that they can still do it fest wise and shall see them at Leeds, and you can't exactly use they are a northern band cause T is still a fair way from Leeds, although it probably helps lol.

I reckon Example could well make his way to NME headliner next year?

The positives are that Flo and Snow Patrol won't be there.

I'd expect Bloc Party to show up, Mumford & Sons, Plan B, The Vaccines again and possibly The Maccabees. Feeder surely to return and Editors?

Muse, The Killers. Biffy, Dizzee I'd expect to show up - Subbing main or headlining NME is a given I'd have thought? I could see Dizzee playing Tinie's slot, The Chem Bro's playing Guetta's slot, I'd love them to get Avicci or Armin but can't see Armin - I was expecting SHM - but didn't expect them to play again this year.

How about something like:

Biffy Clyro

Dizzee Rascal

Example

The Killers

Mumford & Sons

Avicci

Two Door Cinema Club

Muse

The Prodigy

The Chem Bro's

Katy Perry

Not trying to get too much of this going as Neil removed the t forum so fairplay, just keeping it simple.

If its good enough for Jay Z to have a live backing band, then its bloody good enough for tinie to...it was just him and his mate shouting over a CD which no matter what way you look at it is about as good as going to see David Guetta "Live"

In my opinion..

Green Day - bringing out 3 new album by January, can't see them not being there considering they haven't played Leeds/Reading since 2004

Muse are due a new album but i can't see them coming back after a 1 year gap.

Rush,U2 and Soundgarden are also due a new album, and RHCP's tour ends around mid-2013... Could be a possible other.

Loads of good sub-bands are releasing new albums - QOTSA, Mumford and Sons, Linkin Park.

I know i'm going off new album releases but it makes sense in a way, i'm gonna go for Green Day, The Killers and Mumford and Sons

I reckon either Green Day or Linkin Park will headline the Sunday. If Green Day are gonna headline then it will be next year so fingers crossed. Also, I like the new Linkin Park album and so does everyone else I've spoken to. They would fit in for sure.
