2013 Lineup

For me it was Hives, Justice and Kasabian I think. I loved The Cure set but the atmosphere wasn't something I thought was particularly good. Howler was excellent as well actually, probably a bit better than Kasabian.

On topic, Hives will definitely be back I think. Subbing tent? I'll be really annoyed if they're on main stage, so much better in a tent.

Could see it being something like this perhaps? (Replace RHCP with The Prodigy or whoever else is more likely, if they're definitely not touring beyond April)

One man's atmosphere is another's getmethefuckoutofhere.

My best atmospheres for those years would have been;

2010: Ash, Kele, LCD Soundsystem

2011: Death From Above 1979, Muse, Pulp (and millions more, 2011 was wonderful)

2012: Justice, The Cure, The Cribs

EDIT: Libertines over Ash in 2010 actually, through some supreme blonde moment I completely forgot how excellent the atmosphere was for them.

Where were you for Muse in 11'? I for one love Muse, easily my favourite band (probably tied with The Prodigy ^^ - hate if you like :P ) but the atmosphere where I was was absolute shite! We were in the front pit, nearish the back (the closest we could get) and not one person around us, and that's no exaggeration, was dancing... :/ didn't ruin it for us though - we had the time of our lives!! Haha :D

Andy Copping slated Metallica, saying they were a boring booking when Soni had them in 2011, come 2012 he was bigging up the announcement, saying how exciting it was to have them back.Point being, promoters/directors aren't the most trustworthy people. xD

Though I do accept RHCP are probably an unlikely choice, I just don't see a reason to rule them out 100% yet.
