No apparently he got sacked last night (US time). And the rumour came from Koptalk. A sometime respected LFC fansite.

then I'd expect word to have got around further, which it doesn't seem to have done.

Last week Michael Eavis gave a talk at The Great Escape. Shortly after it finished, someone tweeted that Eavis had confirmed that Dolly Parton was playing next year. No one else has tweeted the same thing (tho that original tweet got re-tweeted), so that tweet can be ignored as false because the chances of no one else having heard the same thing and repeated it (independently of that first tweet) is so so tiny.

It's quite easy to separate lies from truth in today's world. :)

They really have a proper collection of w*nkers at the club amidst some proper good guys like Kompany, Mancini and Aguero.

Basically a 5 judge panel look at every single decision in slow motion and then decide if it was wrong or not, they then adjust the league accordingly. Here is the actual league table and the modified one

And when you factor that in... and take into account the league table doesn't look radically different after the adjustments then its only more proof that its all swings and roundabouts and we shouldn't spend too much time crying over the odd disallowed goal here and there...

Tell that to Blackburn and Bolton. Oh, and Stoke, QPR, Man Utd, Man City, Newcastle, Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. It's extremely different.

It's a load of bollocks though, designed by nerds for nerds. How many variables do you want to change like and why?

Yep, I think most people were of the opinion that while its a bit of fun, its far from a foolproof method as doesnt cover all injustices and even if it did, if decisions were given the other way its not realistic that the game would have just carried on in exactly the same way as it did when they were given incorrectly.

And as Benj says, the fans. City fans are GRATEFUL that they're up there winning the title. Chelski fans acted like it was their inalienable right was inevitable from the moment they started putting together their squad. City fans rub their success in towards Man U, their local and championship rivals, Chelski fans rubbed it in to everyone.

It'll take years, and a hell of a lot of twattish behaviour surrounding City, to make me despise them as much as Man U, let alone Chelski. Hell, I actually want Chelsea to lose games as much as I want Newcastle to win games, and that's with them having a nice guy as manager.

There isn't a single good thing about Chelsea Football Club that I can see. There's plenty to like about City.

I like most city fans still cannot believe we have won the league and even though we should be challenging for the league, I will still be happy once we reach the 40 point mark next season!

Ooof I've just looked at the start of this thread where folk made their predictions, they're all pretty much horific, with no one getting more than a couple of spots right.

I feel mainly sorry for Langdale Wolf who seemed sure the 3 promoted sides would go straight back down and it seems Wolves finishing above 15th!

No denial from liverpool yet, so it could be true anout King Kenny being dethroned

Could be I guess, but I still would have thought there'd be something more attributable than there's been for it by now, if it had happened last night. It seems to be nothing more than general speculation.

And why should anyone (not just footie clubs) waste their time denying anything and everything that might be flying around? It doesn't do them any good in the long term, as they end up looking like muppets who are led by the media. It's far more sensible to get one with what you do, and leave that sort of bollocks sort itself out.

    • Not my experience. I've always got the size I paid for.
    • Kind of crackers how fast this summer seems to be sailing by. But aye, must be some news soon!
    • I am very possibly wrong about this but I do think that the pitch you get allocated appears to be related to your time of arrival, (i.e. you get the next one available) rather than the price you paid for a small, medium or large pitch.  They all appear to be the same size to me.
