After a boring might in work came up with these as the most likely headliners and subs/other stages hl

Headlines

Rolling Stones (Possible)

Fleetwood Mac (Nope, Touring the U.S Over Glastonbury Weekend)

Pulp (Possible but very unlikely)

Blur (Why? They only played two festivals ago)

Kings of Leon (Possible but bands don't usually tour the UK as much as they are before playing Glastonbury)

Lady Gaga (Possible)

Adele (could go in either category) (Very unlikely as she doesn't like crowds and has rejected big shows for this reason)

Radiohead (Doubtful. They are not playing anywhere and the band may not even be together)

Bowie (though I expect him to do a secret set) (He's already said he isn't touring or playing gigs. Why would he do a secret set as one of his first gigs for nearly ten years)

Subs/potential headliners for other stages

Noely Gs Birds (Possible)

Beady Eye (Too small, imo. They are nowhere near as big as HFB. Third/fourth on Pyramid or Sub-Other)

New Order (Other Stage headliner)

The XX (Possible)

Florence & The Machine (Possible)

Daft Punk (Not playing Glastonbury according to Emily Eavis. Not playing any gigs according to Rob Da Bank)

Ah fair enough, I knew they were playing T but I didn't realise it was an exclusive.

I've changed Kraftwerk for Fatboy Slim... always there in some format and seems to have quite a few high slots at other festivals this year

and Basement Jaxx for Vampire Weekend

Fri:

Pyramid.

Arctic Monkeys

NGHFB

Two Door Cinema Club - ignore gazza I think this is the most likely spot for them

Jake Bugg - bit too high maybe?

Levellers - I think they'd be better on the Other

Public Enemy

Band Of Horses

Rokia Traoré

Other

Smashing Pumpkins

Kaiser Chiefs - I doubt they'll do the same spot twice, JP header?

Example - unfortunately a bit low for him. If only he still played that low...

Crystal Castles - I'd rather them in a tent but they did do main RnL

Ben Howard - I expect to see him on main in TDCC like spot

Little Angels

I AM KLOOT

Saturday

Pyramid

The Rolling Stones

Florence + The Machine

The Vaccines

Seasick Steve

Belle and Sebastien

The Courteeners

Of Monsters and Men - I'd swap them and courteeners, they're a bit low here

(Mali Singer).

Other

Chase & Status

The XX

Ellie Goulding

Dry The River - Django are bigger, swap them?

Django Django

Frightened Rabbit

Rodriguez

(Mali Singer)

Sunday:

Pyramid

Mumford & Sons

Dizzie Rascal - If he's already subbed 3 years ago I don't think they'd grab him again. May be wrong though, but I think he'll come back to head it

Leonard cohen

Emilee Sande

Howler

Lianne Le Havas

Riot Jazz

(Mali Singer)

Other

KraftWerk - I'm crossing my fingers

Foals

Professor Green

Maccabees

Zulu Winter

M.Ward

Lawson

    • Lovely Brexit doc on bbc2 for anyone who wants to relive those golden years.
    • I think some folks are underestimating how many millennials, now into heavier music, were genuinely also into things like techno and happy hardcore in the 90s and early 00s. Scooter may be about is commercialized as it gets when it comes to happy hardcore and techno, but for many, they won't be just a 'silly act' they will be a genuine nostalgia act.
    • Can anyone share please as can’t access the app
    • Someone said something along the lines of "the lows were really low but they highs were really high" and I think that sentence sums up my ps experience this year. Thursday was a downer (even though I got to see men I trust, geese, oklou and fcukers), but the weather, the missed shows and the uncertainty (those comms...) made it a bad day. Friday and Saturday on the other hand where rly good, a bunch of amazing shows each day (The Cure one was quite something), that surprise on Saturday...   Will be back next year, hope they get another impressive lineup as this year (quality and quantity wise) and that tickets and  primarily hotels don't get much more expensive.
    • Rosalia Radiohead NIN MGMT Bjork David Byrne   Also Vince Staples' new album is cool. I could see him returning.
