I am really looking forward to seeing the Editors. Loved them at Glasto ( 2008?), i had to watch on TV, but the really rocked the Other stage crowd that night. Loving the new album.

I'm not really one for joining in to slag off bands, but of all the bands I've seen at Glastonbury over the past few years, they have been by far the worst.

It was a shame because I actually quite like them on record, but they were just dull. There was no connection with the crowd. They might as well have just played the recordings over the speakers. Shite.

Saw them at Norwich UEA, they were f**king brilliant. However, I'll be seeing Laura Marling or watching the England match when they are on, unfortunately, otherwise I'd have been 100% there

didn't like them until i saw them live at wireless in 07. love them now and haven't seen them live since leeds 08 so quite looking forward to their set. Just hope they don't play to much off new album as it was a huge let down.

Can't really comment but someone on here (I think) once made the observation that you can recreate an Editors gig with some badly dressed mannequins and an Editors album. Made me chuckle that did.

I saw em 11 times on the tours for the 1st 2 albums but not since the new 1 came out. The new 1 has a few good tunes on it but i just dont know how they'll mix in with the older stuff in the set. Guess i'll see at Glasto cos i'll definitely be watchin em

I've seen them a few times and really enjoyed it, but I saw them at The Apollo a few weeks ago and it was frankly shit. They mixed old with new and pretty much alternate songs, I don't know it just didn't gel really but i'm not a fan of the last album so might be biased. I'll be giving them a miss, Marling for me.

    • Tbf that happened to me in 2022 so not a one off. 40 euros to drive down 3 streets. I'd have done a runner but the reason for getting the taxi in the first place is cos I couldn't walk no more.
    • I was fully prepared (waterproof jacket, extra pair of socks, foldable umbrella), but after four hours in the rain (from Geese through Oklou to Florence Road), it was just too much. Already at the hotel, let's hope tomorrow's better.
    • It’s rare that I watch question time, but I almost felt sorry for Kenyon, he seemed like a guy just brought off the street which effectively is what he was, made worse by the fact Burnham and the Tory guy were very strong debaters. I think Burnham was very aware not to go too hard on Kenyon and risk him getting sympathy, in fact he pretty much ignored him.
    • Shambles. Transport and comms garbage. Been looking forward to this since last June and have never been to a more disorganised festival in 30+ years.  Why we were told the whole festival was cancelled for the night if they had put back shows for a few hours?  Pissed off to say the very least and put a huge downer on the rest of the weekend.
    • Rotten communication. Actually god awful. Posting sporadically on IG, closing Mordor only to reopen and cause some serious carnage. Left the festival as it got too much for my 16year old daughter. She was devastated about Alex G and Mac…but TV girl could have saved it. Took us until 1220 and already home to find out they might/are playing. Pish.    and on another note, this festival has lost its bastard soul. Gone are the wee tents with local sellers selling vinyl, t shirts etc, now you can buy a 50 f**king eur official T-shirt. The ar*e is truely out of this event now. I went to Porto for the first time last year and it was fab. I love Barcelona and the line up is always stacked, but this festival is a corporate loss take. Hopefully a better day tomorrow.
