Being enthused to go out and listen to some new music again which I really haven't been (Ginger's pledge projects aside) all year.

I say new, it seems to be mainly older bands, but bands I've not listened to before. :music::rock:

I've just done a similar thing with electronic music.

Had a surprise 60th birthday party last night for one of our Glasto Gang. Really worked well. Took over his local pub for an evening of music, memories and curry. He was expecting a night out tonight so was persuaded by a mate to just go with him for a quiet drink at his local last night, which was actually his birthday.

He turned up to be greeted by 40 of his family and friends who'd managed to keep the whole thing secret.

My band playing together for the first time at Dublin Castle. Proper nervous. But we're mainly using this gig to show off to the promoters that organized it what we can do, to make them want to get us to play more shows etc. Don't really like the songs that much, there's a lot of "musical masturbation" in there. But hey ho, if it shows our musical abilities and how tight we are as a band then I'm all for it.

The gig at Dublin Castle went really well last night. There were loads of Indie Pop bands on then we came on with Prog Rock, which was really funny. I was smiling all the way through thinking about everyone's faces as were playing this really weird stuff. It was a great night.

Coming up to three months clean & sober and today I was promoted at work so life is pretty sweet for me.Got a new tattoo yesterday to signify my sobriety and used a different shop which has priced up my tattoo sleeve cheaper than the other place I used.life is pretty sweet...I keep eating for the other shoe to drop though, life is never this good for me.

There's some on our facebook page, not on the gig but just of us jamming which I can P.M to you if you like, to save myself looking like I'm just spamming this page with a band advertisement :P
