Robert Plant new rumour

i just heard on radio 6, from the horses mouth, that robert plant is in talks with mr E about playing next year .. in some form or another. he would not confirm what act he will be playing with but did say that he is in talks.

fingers crossed ay guys n' gals.

bit pissed off with Page and will do his bit with A Krauss instead.

Get Slade bak together and you've got a Wolverhampton set.

Anything Plant does, with or without Zepp, tends to be good. He was superb in the Acoustic Tent a couple of years ago.

I don't think he ever officially disbanded the Strange Sensations and the last time I saw them play which was Womad 05 I think, they were stunning live with loads of Zep songs and loads of other great stuff like Season of the Witch etc...

2010 will be 15 years since P&P on the main stage...

Can't be doing with the Krauss thing, her version of Waits 'Trampled Rose' is stunning, the rest is just too yeehaw barndance doseedoe for my liking..

I have been reading this and thinking Christ that would be f"cking A1.

Then it was going through my slightly broken mind that, "what if I don't get a ticket?" "What if I am not there?"

i've seen him on his tod (well with the strange sensation), and while he was good, i dont think its worthy of the pant wetting going on here. if its led zep, thats a different story, but plant solo wouldnt be anything special on the blur or mccartney scale.

I'd never seen him till about 5 years ago when he played a tsunami benefit with Massive & Portishead (and Damon Albran), and didn't think he'd be all that - how wrong was I!!

He has one of the greatest voices ever, not really from his singing tone but from his timing. Mindblowing is an understatement!
