1960s Batman boxset out on the 11th!

Quality improvement is incredible.

I was off sick for a month with Appendicitis a few years ago, and the 60's Batman was on ITV4 every day. Absolutely brilliant stuff. My favourite one was the one with the giant magnifying glass that was going to burn Batman and Robin to death.

I loved 60's Batman as a kid, I remember when I was 8/9 I used to get up at 6am every morning to watch the repeats on C4.

I'm gonna hold off buying the Batman '66 boxset, whilst it's a great show it's not worth £150.

The thing is until that point, that woman was actually a fairl normal person, no idea why she went on it though as she wasn't really one of the cretin business types/loud mouths that it usually takes to win. Think she realised herself after that!

One thing is for certain, they were very poor at selling their tours! I done it one summer for the London Tour Buses. Most tourists seemed to only need a little discount to bite, those who didn't were likely not intrested. (On the other hand it is London, so lots people want to see, we also had "queue jump" tickets to sell for the big attractions like Madame Tussauds which sometimes roped people in, massive massive con and I never really pushed them as much I should have (job wise) as basically they sell so many queue jump tickets, you end up being in a 3/4 hour queue anyway! )

But essentially it was 25 quid an adult for just getting on a bus and if you stayed just on the bus doing a loop, it would have took about 2 hours to give perspective on price to what they charged (But you could jump on and off all day)

PS, Carol Ann Susi who voiced Mrs Wolowitz in Big Bang Theory has died. She also had a notable role in Seinfeld, apparently; but I know her work from Kolchak the Night Stalker and I'll be watching her episodes again with a whisky and a tear.
