Strange Glastonbury Experience number 307. As i was on site on the Tuesday prepping for arrivals on Wednesday, i was sat up at the Stone Circle relaxing and doing my lateral flow test of all things! Makes a change from what is usually going up peoples noses in that locale. I heard some noises and peered across as a couple of Deer came leaping down the field. Was quite a moment. Think they were heading to the Park Stage for *insert appropriate act name here. A nice joyful moment. Also took a video.

It's almost like she's an actual real multifaceted human being. Fancy that eh?

Got a day ticket for Sunday this morning. Biffy Clyro Machine Gun Kelly Yungblud Neck Deep Hot Milk Not bad, gets me back in a field watching bands after a year away... should be a fun time.

Would like: Foals, Bombay (both playing APE the Monday so there’s a chance, phonics (not a prayer) courteeners or libertines and I will always say LG (more chance me winning lottery). would not like: manics (but it would do) and James. Last time I saw James it was absolutley dog shit, I’ve seen a fair few times and normally brilliant but last couple gone down hill abit in my opinion. Each to their own though isn’t it! Personally it would be nice for something new that hasn’t been there before.

I've got nothing to add mate, except to say I fully support you, and am entirely behind you and all strength to you. We've chatted occasionally on Twitter over the years (@pwwebb) and if I can be of any support, always there for you.

Camping is a two minute walk from car to gate. Quick que in takes about 2-5 minutes. Plenty of pitching space, very friendly and clean. Facilities decent, showers are good if you fancy it after a night on the ale feeling rough and need a kickstart. Quick walk round to Sainsbury’s and the shuttle service is great, they say you can’t drink on the bus so we just go upstairs and crack a beer it’s usually fine and no one says anything. in terms of partying after the bands the strongbow tent is good and Portsmouth centre. However, in the campsite the demographic even in 18+ area is anything from 25 to 60s, people come back and get a good nights kip. People get a bit pissy if your making a load of noise. A lot of people get the bus straight back and get some kip and recharge. Hope this helps.

Got a feeling we might get De La Soul...touring round the time of Bearded and in and out of the UK. Would see them fitting in nicely before Flaming Lips on the Sunday. Idles before Patti Smith and Johnny Marr before Placebo. None of these will probably happen but FLAMING LIPS ON THE SUNDAY! What a way to end Bearded. Gonna be epic!
