Power ballads

Watched a set in Williams Green last year on the Thursday, it was wall to wall power ballads, packed out and absolutely great fun.

Does anyone know if this is something that happens every year or if it was just a one off?

The year before I watched a brass band playing a bunch of well known hits (purple rain, man in the mirror etc.) in Williams green on Thursday evening. Singing was done by the crowd; was this what you saw or something different?

They've been there a few years, so wouldn't be at all surprising if they were back again.

Guilty Pleasures isn't it? Can't provide any info on if it's an annual thing though I'm afraid.

Wasn't one of the posters on here partly behind the Power Ballad Thursday evening thing at William's Green last year?

I saw the end of it waiting for The Smyths - it was indeed very rammed!

Power Ballads have been a fixture on the Thursday afternoon for the last few years. Always rammed and always a great atmosphere.

Yeah. It's Ultimate Power. They do club nights in London and elsewhere in the UK sometimes. 

Very good option for early evening on the Thursday. Hope they're there again.

Was it Club de Fromage on Thursday night? Always good fun  but far more popular now than a few years ago ....

Yeah it was someone off here's mate, can't remember who. I also caught the end of it waiting for the Smyth's and wished I had gotten there earlier as it looked like a lot of fun.

I've been to the Ultimate Power club night before, it's great fun. Would definitely recommend it if you're curious.

Ultimate Power was definitely the name, thanks to everyone who replied and I'll be keeping an eye out this year! Really recommend
