Dylan's Big Toe
Waxahatchee's new album mean's she's replaced Perfume Genius on my ten 'must-sees'. Found it really difficult to narrow down to ten though. Bill Callahan Courtney Marie Andrews Daniel Romano Waxahatchee Japandroids Aaron Lee Tasjan Lemon Twigs Father John Misty Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever Shovels and Rope The Friday from about 3pm is pretty light for me. Any recommendations?
dirty_dog
Friday is virtually empty for me, a few maybe's in Shovel's n Rope, Margaret Glaspy, Ryley Walker and Jens Lekman.
dirty_dog
just listening to Daniel Romano and he sounds pretty good, I can picture myself nursing a hangover and lying on the grass listening to him
airboy paul
Jens Lekman Hogni Aldous Harding Bill Callahan Perfume Genius Let's Eat Grandma Douglas Dare Penguin Cafe Amanda Bergman Timber Timbre Would be my top ten. I've seen Jens ten times so far and will also see him in the week before eotr, and it's still not enough. I was extremely happy to find out that Hogni is the lead singer of an Icelandic band that I love to pieces, called Hjaltalin, so I'll definitely be watching him. Aldous Harding I've seen a few times, and she's extremely good live. Perfume Genius I've also seen a few times, and Let's Eat Grandma once. The other bands/acts will be my first time of seeing them. juliadevitt
after seeing Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever being included on a number of top ten lists here, I checked them out and like them alot. Some how I missed them when doing my pre- festie research, so thanks very much
shoebox
There's a couple of new songs from Alex Cameron doing the rounds, one with Angel Olsen, that are quite brilliant. He may be creeping onto my list.

xxialac
I was bored silly watching Car Seat Headrest 2 years back but reviews suggest they are a good live act. Maybe they've upped their game or maybe I just need to give them another chance.
ljsawyer
I really don't understand the hype surrounding Car Seat Headrest. Listening to Teens of Denial I can't help but think it's all been done a million times before. Some of those songs are much much longer than they need to be as well. eagles69
I love the Car Seat album and saw them in Porto last year. I think they were good live but you got to remember that he has only recently worked with a band as his first albums were made on his computer

Declan
They good a Primavera and great the week latter at Beaches Brew in Italy. I think the album is fab. Could be another Ought moment in the Garden. (But then it's basically one guy and a pick up backing band so if they've changed personel to session type musos then it might be poor).
