Bad Bunny would be a great Saturday headliner. Not sure if he’s very popular in Hungary tho..

Green Day might be more realistic... but not this year, I guess!

I'm wondering what Wednesday's going to look like. 19:15 Biffy Clyro, 21:15 Twenty-One Pilots, 00:30 Ashnikko? Or could Ashnikko clash with the other two?

That feels right, but who knows?

I'm still holding out hope that Turnstile are announced to play before Twenty One Pilots and Biffy play in the tent straight after. I suspect that's too much wishful thinking though.

I'm just waiting for kids registration tickets and the family camp to be announced. There's enough acts I want to see already so I'm not too concerned about the remaining acts to be announced

Some great names announced for Pukkelpop this morning: AZART, DENZEL CURRY, DIJON, DIMENSION, DOM DOLLA, JOHN SUMMIT, KELIS, KÖLSCH LIVE, MARIBOU STATE, PEGASSI, PURPLE DISCO MACHINE, SOULWAX, THE HIVES, WET LEG, WUNDERHORSE.

Given Sziget are being a bit adventurous this year, wonder if Summit could fit into the Saturday EDM headliner spot... he's exploded over the past few years and secured an Ibiza residency at UNVRS (10-15k cap)

That last three in the list, including Wunderhorse, would be great additions.

Saw The Hives twice in 2023 and,,,,,wow! Probably in my top three most entertaining live act I've ever seen.

David Guetta announced for Lovestream (Bratislava) week before Sziget. Looks like he could be the last headliner, although it’s tricky as every DJ can just pack his USB suitcase and appear from nowhere.

Possible, but that would be a lazy booking.

On the other hand, it is Saturday night and festival ending, give any huge DJ name and the people will be happy. I would say that the other headliners are more important and that people are more critical of the choice.

I'm probably barking up the wrong tree with this one but is there a chance, with the new owner, that they might do away with the Saturday night DJ and put a live act on instead?

I know Saturday is traditionally party night for locals on the island, but won't they come anyway and head to Delta District into the early hours? Possibility of getting two seperate batches of day ticket buyers if it's a non-EDM headliner?

Just a thought....

I am thinking they are waiting to announce the EDM in one package, with the Saturday headliner in that package.

Bastille are also free on the 15th of August. They used to come to Sziget as often as Macklemore, so there's a chance to have them both on the same day!

    • Thanks so much - that's very helpful. Someone else mentioned getting a train from Loughborough to East Midlands Parkway, and then a festival shuttle from there to the site. I think they were then going to come back on the Skylink Derby to Loughborough - I assume this is because the trains don't run as late as the Skylink, otherwise they would just come back the same way they came?! Is the transport hub a long way from the main stage? Just wondering what time I would need to leave Linkin Park to be sure of getting a shuttle. As I say, I am sure it will all be clear on the day, even after a few beers! Just hope the rain stays away...
    • I really don't think they would put Olivia Rodrigo on Occident stage. If it was her, they would put her in earlier Mordor slot and move Big Thief or Little Simz to Occident.   Fontaines DC are more probable, but don't really match the hype. However, again, if the hype was real, the artist would end up in Mordor.   That being said, I would love to see Fontaines DC tonight.
    • After all the good advice on here I had a nice visit to the site earlier in the week.    Walked down from Pilton village to Hitchen Hill and down the footpath to the Wood by Woodies.    Really strange seeing the site empty of 100,000 people. There is far more hedges and woodland on the site than you remember when the festival is on. Can see the stone circle and some structures still up on site. And looks like Worthy View has some camping going on there during the summer too.   Lots was fenced off with electric fencing to help wth the cattle grazing. Is really amazing how they set up the site as its hard enough accessing the area by car and foot nevermind all the kit needed to set the festival up. As others said you can't walk the whole site but nice to see the site again after a few years away   Pilton is also a lovely village with a nice village hall shop and post office attached, and got to speak to some locals who told me a few tales of past festivals down the years. One house for sale there would be lovely to live in - if only I had £2 million going spare
    • 6music just shared a video of all of Fontaines DC singing along to the Cure last night. It'll be them. Booooo    Olivia might get up for I Love You though...
