I'm hoping for Gorillaz (since they are one of my favourite bands) but if I'm being realistic I think we'll get Twenty One Pilots, they are also doing a lot of european festivals + they are at fm4frequency in Austria, and they always share some headliers with Sziget 🌞

That seems realistic and also something I would be happy with.

No Gorillaz is a bummer, but I'm seeing them elsewhere next summer, so for me personally it's not a big issue if they are not on the lineup.

 

Hoping that the wildcard is Tyler, the creator.

I'm just hoping for Gorillaz so I don't have to go to InMusic, not sure if I have money for that right now since I'm already going to see Tame Impala next year and I want to go to see Mac DeMarco too 🥲

Seems realistic - hoping for one big wow wildcard booking like you say, would definitely help to announce Sziget back onto the scene again

Still, while that feels realistic compared to usual Sziget standards, I'm still tampering expectations given that the festival was on the wire recently - can't say I completely exclude a Sombr or Teddy Swims headline slot

I have a feeling they could bump Lewis Capaldi to headline slot as a "smaller" headliner.

Seems like a safe pair of hands after Anyma who, I assume, wasn't quite the massive viral hit the organisers were expectng after his Sphere residency.

Realistically they could both headline separate days, like in 2023.

 

Lorde is mainly playing entirely different festivals to the 2023 tour though, which is what makes me question whether she will go to Sziget.
