David Byrne, Wet Leg, The Flaming Lips, really not a bad headline trio for me.

Same, so glad they're not clashing. This will be 4th time seeing Wet Leg for me. Always wanted to see the Lips and David Byrne solo will be something different, but I am a big Talking Heads fan so can't wait. Let's see what this announcement brings!

Nothing too surprising added for me. I called David Gray months ago. Undertones are cool but no Fergal Sharkey these days. Peter Hook and Panic Shack will be on my list to go see. Overall there looks to be quite a few bands I don't know, so a good one for discovering something new.

Sunday now looking quite strong to me, especially the second stage, I could quite happily spend all day in that tent. Might be tempted to buy a day ticket...

... also love to know which day Snapped Ankles are playing, would love to see them live at a festival again. Does the poster mean they are Sunday, I would be surprised they would be up against Flaming Lips?

If you search by artist they are down as playing the Sunrise on Friday

Looks like kevin morby isn't on this poster.  Hope he is still playing.

He's still on the artist page on the official website.

I would have liked a few more dance-orientated artists, but happy with the additions of The Beta Band, Saint Etienne and Peter Hook & The Light

Not the most exciting batch in the 2nd announcement but Lime Garden, Panic Shack, Deadletter and Beta Band are decent additions. Happy with Jack Dee and Ross Noble too.

Looking at the clashfinder for the last years, it looks like the headliner for the Second Stage overlaps with the main subheadliner - is this accurate? I'd hate to have Self Esteem and Flaming Lips clashing (my main acts for the day).

It's not a guarantee, but also no way of knowing until stage times unfortunately.

Looking at the last few years, 2025 and 2024 it was only Sunday where the 2nd stage headliner clashed with the Obelisk sub. In 2023, it was only the case on the Friday ... so not exactly much rhyme or reason.

It’ll depend on the contract they have with Capaldi, some acts have a ‘nobody on the second stage while I’m on’ clause. Think Mumford and Sons were the first to do it at Latitude, but it’s become more common in recent years (due to cut backs I guess, cheaper not to have two headliners).

Now Kevin Morby's *not* on the artist page on the official website.

Theres a good mix in there for me, it definitely feels a lot more old school Latitude compared to the last few years

Still plenty more to add as well! It looks like roughly:

Obelisk

Saturday - 2 more acts

Sunday - 2 more acts

Tent

Friday - 3 more acts

Saturday - 2 more acts

Sunday - 3 more acts

Next announcement will probably be more of these and more Sunrise names

Nope. IOW has a lot of it and is just better

Whilst IOW has The Cure which would be my #1 pick out of all the bands, I think Latitude has the better overall line up. IOW is a bit too poppy for me, Latitude has lots of of less mainstream acts I want to see, more than last year. Plus I suspect they are still yet to announce a special guest on the Obelisk on Saturday, beginning with the letter 'M'.

That's fair. Lewis, Tom Odell, Tom Grennan and TLDP is all that really interests me. Its actually quite poor when I've thought that. I've got 11 options at IOW

    • Skylink is 24 hours... But the skylink will drop you off at Pegasus business Park or EMA (East Midlands Airport) where you'll have to use the Download shuttle link, which isn't 24 hours. The last shuttle from the Download transport hub to EMA is 12:15 TrentBarton / Local bus info here: https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/download2026   Skylink Derby / Leicester / Loughborough timetable here: https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/services/skylinkderby  Shuttle timetable here: https://www.trentbarton.co.uk/userfiles/hotel.pdf If you miss the shuttle, which is very doubtful, you'll just have to find another way to EMA / Pegasus business park, maybe a taxi. You could even walk to EMA from the Download transport hub, wouldn't take too long. Just make sure you use the airport's 'circular path' instead of the dangerous roads.  I walk the circular path often, it's nice and easy. I would post instructions but I very much doubt you'll miss the shuttle, and if you do, it isn't hard to work out. The footpath is clearly signposted from directly opposite / across the road from where the download map has labelled "Pickup and Drop Off Exit."
    • So for Harry Styles it was actually a plastic bag that basically blocks the view of the front and back cameras. You can still use the phone screen. It's much easier than using lockers, especially for people leaving for the last train etc    I think it's basically reliant on the threat of security kicking you out if you start filming.
    • Hey, does anybody have a joining link for the WhatsApp group plz? I know the secret sets get posted there but have a new phone and number
