  1. Think it depends what ticket delivery method you chose. if you used Axs Mobile ID think you can transfer the tickets to someone else. You might have to sell them via Twickets or something? https://faqs.axs.co.uk/
  2. If you’re on your own there’s University accommodation still available at a reasonable price. https://www.victoriousfestival.co.uk/uop-accommodation/ I stay at Harry Law Halls. It’s a 15/20 minute walk to the Festival (pub en route 😂). It’s pretty basic but has a bed and a bog and shower and is £50 a night.
  3. Agree. Primary entry gets you nowt. If you want to be near the front, I’m afraid you have to sell your house and go for Gold/platinum circle etc.
  4. Agreed think Florence would be a good fit for the Stones and there’s not many people too big to support The Stones. Got tickets for 25th as figured it would be easier as Glasto ticket holders were already sorted. In cattle class unfortunately as £ 250 to be near the front was a bit pricey for me. Would be very happy if Flo supported.
  5. Richard Ashcroft just announced for South Facing earlier in August. A possible for that slot?
  6. Think it’s more of a question of how much are the traders getting ripped off and where is all your spending data going.
  7. Think this Festival requires the dreaded wristbands for cash. I went once before (in 2016). Was a pretty friendly Festival back then.
  8. OMD and Peter Hook & The Light announced as two of the Headliners for the early January shindig. Pretty safe choices but reasonably popular I would have thought.
  9. My main guess of Shed Seven looks less likely now as they didn’t include it on the list of Festivals they we’re playing. Hoping it’s not the Karzi Chefs.
  10. Do we think festivals will book him given his fairly recent past? Edit: If you’re referring to Tom Meighan of course
  11. Plus undercard details. Happy I’m there on the Friday with Cat Power and The Murder Capital amongst the support.
  12. I’ve re-listened to the radio interview. Re the Friday he says -“there’s still a lot of acts to come. I think it might be a sell-out” so I’m not convinced it’ll be one massive name in that slot. Looking at the Superstruct Fests and who’s around my guess is still Shed Seven for that slot.
  13. Jungle have previously been announced for 30 July
  14. Too many Festivals over that Bank Holiday weekend. You have the majors Reading/Leeds APE and Victorious and several similar to this like Camper Calling.
  15. Quite unusual I’d say, especially towards the top of the bill.
  16. Capaldi, Flo and Foals are my guesses. Think that would look pretty strong to most?
  17. Maybe add Idles as a possible. Can’t see how anyone can play third down and sell out all the tickets!
  18. Are we sure the Castle headliners are not already announced? I could see The Wombats headlining against Nutini?
  19. The move to August hasn’t helped IMO. Plenty of other options. I’m a Nick Cave fan but I’m off to Victorious instead which has a jam packed line up for my tastes. As said at the time you could make a good three day festival out of APE’s six dates. I reckon they think Londoners will just go for a day out almost irrespective of line up.
  20. I think this is the most likely outcome. They are at Camper Calling that weekend with James so very much in the frame. Kaiser Chiefs would be my second guess. They’re also around. Not a fan personally but they seem to still retain some popularity. Agree that wouldn’t leave much for the yoof on the Friday but as I’m old I don’t really care 😂
  21. Jamie T is “back in the game” but more likely to pop up at Reading/Leeds I reckon.
  22. Boom! Suede playing Common Stage before Fender at 8pm. Perfect for me!
  23. Tickets lifted, accommodation sorted, genuinely buzzing for this. Top line-up for me.
