Been trying to work it out and I think it’s 2am Belgium time for the last 16 game.  My maths isn’t the best though so maybe don’t trust me 100%

Assuming we progress via winning the group, it'd be Match 92 in Mexico City, starting at 6pm local time. 

 

Mexico should be 7 hours ahead of Belgium, and so I think it'd start at 1am?

 

Quick run back to the Hive and try and catch most the game from there if it's on.

Love the effort that goes into these things.  It is quite vast for obvious reasons reasons but I’d be surprised if Franz Ferdinand, Dogstar, Little Simz, CMAT and Wolf Alice aren’t there. (And for me that’s a lovely little list).

 

Add another couple of likely ones in Maruja and Floodlights onto the slope and we’ve got a great festival

Have they released the times yet? I can't see the time sof the games published anywhere. And on one schedule, winner of group L vs TBC was listed as the first match of the day, so I presumed that would mean it was quite early...

I don't know what are theses rumors based on but some bands haven't announce any dates yet, some seems to be touring but not for festivals, some are already announced for Graspop and Charlotte Cardin is already booked the 1st, the 2nd, the 3rd and either the 4th or the 5th for DTRH.

Anyway there are some really appealing names for my taste and I'd be happy to be wrong having listed some out 😁

Times are out, I've been using the Wikipedia page. The above was for the round of 16 on the Sunday 5th rather than round of 32 on the Wednesday 1st.

 

You're correct that round of 32 would (hopefully!) be as winner of Group L, I think from memory that is about 4pm UK time on Wednesday - it looks like I'll be watching that on my phone while on the Eurostar!

Yeah it's not perfect, for another example, Skunk Anansie are still listed as likely when they're probably ruled out via the Alanis dates. 

 

I think the very likely section is probably the most helpful and Joss has a decent track record of previous announcements mostly coming out of that section.
