Some years acts playing the early summers festival like Glastonbury, Roskilde, Werchter. Then they play later summer ones like Reading, Pukkelpop, Lowlands, Sziget the next/previous year.

I would suspect if it's a live nation event they probably do try and lock the acts in as long as possible to keep the competition at bay

For those who are interested (my mate) apparently they show all the World Cup games at the hive.  Guessing there might be some late night ones considering some of the time zones will be 8 hours difference from Belguim

I don't know about ALL but definitely the ones that matter. They didn't show ALL the games last year during the Euros IIRC

Rumours in the Tour Announcements that SOAD will be playing Spurs Stadium with QOTSA as support...

 

If that's true that would be a hell of a top 2 on the main stage one night!

Someone on reddit mentioned a Berlin date 2nd of July. Also Sweden is confirmed apparently. I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that Way Out West festival changed their logo profile today...
