Hey correct me if im wrong because Ive never attended but looking at more recent clashfinders isnt there normally only 3 acts before headliners? Or am i reading the above post wrong is there a gap for changeover?

Yes, each space represents a timeslot rather than an act.

I believe armin has been confirmed as main stage before post Malone.

luvcat would be more likely revolut.

but there will be a few that willl move to the buzz.  Royal Otis was on the buzz last year for example

You are correct! Armin is indeed sub!

The Buzz, dropYard and other smaller stages usually have their own separete announcements later in spring. The acts announced so far are from Main Stage/Revolut/Party Arena/Colosseum line-ups (with the exception of Queenz who will be in Magic Mirror).

40+ acts yet to be announced.

If we don't get 10 decent, recognisable acts in that final announcement I'm gonna feel like the guy at the BBQ who gets given a burger while everyone else tucks into prime steak.

I've said this before but Sziget has a really good opportunity to knock it out of the park this year. The headliners are in place to do it (although I'm not convinced Shawn Mendes was the right choice tbh).

The subs (or the acts in the sub position on the poster) have some strength to them but are, at this time, a bit too EDM-focused compared to the headliners - but this can be solved with two or three decent names who are around in July/August - NBT, Wet Leg, Biffy, London Grammar, Vampire Weekend, Prodigy, Maribou State, EOTS etc.

The undercard just needs some more recognisable rock, indie acts rather than the small cluster they currently have there.

10 acts from 40 isn't difficult to do. Let's keep our fingers crossed.....

From this list, you give me I Prevail, The Last Dinner Party + Viagra Boys (with of course the hope/dream for Nothing But Thieves, Snow Patrol and Biffy Clyro still there), ---> 😄 😄 😄

I prevail would be amazing and they have a big gap in August but I won't hold my breath.

Hope I'm proven wrong but it's rare that a festival keeps the good stuff for announcement number three!

They'll need a handful of well known names to grab the attention, but suspect it'll be no more than 5 medium sized acts and lots more smaller ones.

With Kylie and Fisher not being announced until the end of April last year, it gives me a glimmer of hope that there could still be a few good names yet to come

    • I've been attending Primavera every year since my first one in 2017 & it's always been my favourite week of the year, but I think things have changed.   Firstly, the site just feels too busy in this current set-up. I'm sure it was a lot easier back in 2017-19 to get between the stages & then a good spot for the next one, but now you increasingly have to sacrifice parts of a set or miss them out completely to plan for later on. I wish we still had the Bits area over the bridge to spread everyone out.   But the main issue is the talking, it's always been here but this year it's been relentless & I just can't tolerate it any more. It's at every stage, and everywhere from the front to the back, there is no escape. Not focusing on nationalities, but a major dynamic now seems to be groups of people who are only focusing on their own good time & aren't interested if this affects anyone else. It seems essential that all members of the group are together at the same time, so it's people making telephone calls, people on shoulders waving phone torches, people barging through. It's alright, I'm only trying to watch The Cure here.   I will have a year away to think about it. I thought might give up completely but yesterday was a bit of a classic day after two unenjoyable ones. Adding Olivia Rodrigo to Baxter Dury, Gelli Haha, The XX, Gorillaz & Kneecap shows how good it can be, but as with everything, it's always the people that have the biggest impact.
