The undercard is actually pretty decent. I've been listening to it for the past couple of months and found lots to enjoy BUT there is a significant lack of recognisable names, and that's what people tend to search for.

 

If they don't recognise a load of names, they'll just move onto the next festival.

i think we're going tò get new names After the 65 euro promo price (if It's gonna be a promo/limited price) near the end of March. I don't know what game they are playing. If they want to disclose all the remaining big/mid names in that announcement or save some surprises for the last minute. Btw i read some comments in a sziget group by someone close to sziget management that stated that tickets are selling faster than last year, so Sales are not so bad. Not surprised actually, last year There were sooo few people, in particular first days, lineup was weak as f**k

No news about new names recently, so right now any hint is good for me...

Would prefer hints/rumours around those rock or indie acts they keep promising us on Insta everytime someone's raises it.

 

I'm at the point now where I'd take two or three extra 'guitar bands' just to get my fix. And, as we all keep saying, there's plenty of choice out there this summer.

So, how long do we think day tickets will last before they're 'sold out' and move to a price higher than 65 euros?

The more they continue to put out graphics that don’t specify that Anyma is playing the main stage (most recent instagram story), the more I start to buy into the idea that he could be playing the new rumoured stage instead

I have no doubts it's true. It's just the detail we need. There's no way the current (2024) set up would do justice to Anyma's visuals. It would be a wasted booking without something new coming, be that a new stage or much improved main stage screens.

He's also headlining festivals like Rock en Seine or Zurich Open Air and I don't think they are upgrading their stages...

What are theirs like currently? Maybe no upgrade needed? 

 

We already have a member of this group saying they have a first-hand account of a Sziget rep saying there'll be a new stage and they aren't announcing a stage for Anyma. 2 + 2 = 4?

 

Only issue I can see is where the stage goes and what they put on the main stage during Anyma if he's on a new stage.

 

Could be something as simple as they're waiting for a sponsorship deal for the naming of the new stage before they announce it?

Rock en Seine is nothing special, feels basically same as Sziget. Zurich Open Air looks interesting but in terms of size of the stage and LED screens, it's about the same as well. I feel like people are expecting something similar to Anyma's solo shows/events where they use the custom stage but that's just not happening. I think the visuals will be sort of 'downgraded' to fit the festival's current set up.

That person mentioned we're getting third larger EDM stage which suggests it will be similar size to Party Arena/Colosseum.

 

If there was a large outdoor EDM stage and Anyma was on it, we would need another headliner for the old Main Stage plus 4 big DJs to headline the new EDM stage. And as we already know, that's not happening...

ANYMA not headlining main stage does not make sense.

I have been fully on your side with this, but the new Instagram story have swayed me as well. It is extremely weird that all artist there have main stage on their card except Anyma…

They are not missing a main stage headliner. The headliners are already closed.

Anyma is not on the first day, he's on the Saturday. They sell masses of day tickets for a Saturday so can't see they'll have the stage empty, even if Anyma is playing on a new stage.

Is one of your headliners playing on the main stage? It's a simple question to give a simple answer to, but they've avoided giving you the simple answer.
