In the press release the CEO mentioned that the circus tent and the magic mirror will be at a different place than last years. I heard rumours that the overall size of the festival will be much smaller,  wonder if that’s true. No mention of any new stages though.

I doubt it will be 'much' smaller, but making it more compact by reducing the size by 20% or so will potentially create more of a vibe at night.

I just HOPE they will have djs playing different music at night. Last year it was the same sh*t everywhere:(

This was our complaint last year. Kids getting older, so we were staying out later but couldn't find anywhere that wasn't playing the same hard dance music (I'm crap on genres, but it all sounded the same).

One night we came across the One Direction disco and it was RAMMED. Not really our cup of tea either, but it shows there's an appetite for something different.

i think it was way less tbh. that would have been 2564 tickets per day. i don't think the tier was that big

How many overall day tickets do they have for each day do we think?

If it's 25,000 then 2564 is only 10% of the total. I can see that happening.

I mean, demand crashed their website so there must have been a serious number of people trying to gain access.

Suspect a lot went on to buy at 75 euros after being unsuccessful at 65 too.

Yeah exactly. The 1D night, the ABBA tribute or Necc Party. All of them were rammed, they need to play songs that everyone can sing along and dance to

It's been getting smaller for the last few years, not saying that's a bad thing though.

For example the choice of paid campsites have reduced, to just Siesta and VIP. Where pre covid there was more than double.

Moving in days reduced from 3 to 2.

2017, 2018 and 2019 was 7 days of programme. Now that's been reduced to 6.

I wouldn't mind the area being smaller, now I'm getting older. 😃

Yeah, shame. There’s always demand for singalong parties, like Necc Party or Tesco Disco. i hope they bring back the latter as in the last two years they failed to book him.

i'm on the "its a marketing thing" side. cant see them not cashing in on the headliners.

also next tier for shawn mendes is already selling out.

One of the years he broke his leg so he had to cancel a bunch of shows which might've included sziget as well. But I agree, it would be great to have him back at sziget.

the one day ticket flash sale is something i wouldn't expect, It proves they're not doing so bad this year after all. About the site getting smaller and days reduced: I don't think It indicates more quality, but simply overall cost reduction. 7 days instead of 6 for almost the same price means One less headliner for full pass ticket holders. Less stages means, in my opinion, they could add more commercials and partners stages. Still, if they are making some changes to improve night Life and variety that could be a great addition. During the day i Will go tò Budapest thermal bath and relax.

Really good value for day tickets. When you think a reading day ticket is around 150 euros, also pinkpop day ticket for muse is 155 euros.

They mentioned that is not a hint. So they are doing it on purpose.

I've twice commented on Facebook under the story that, while it's not a hint, it would be great if they could bring more 'guitar bands' to the festival. Both comments have been removed, which is a bit concerning.

EDIT: To clarify, I wasn't spamming. First comment was removed and then I posted again and that was also removed.

Yeah this is why I’m saying it’s mocking.

there are no more headliner slots so it was already obviously not a hint yet they choose this phrasing.

They are just rubbing jt in at this point.

What the f*ck does it even mean? What the f*ck are muse-ships?

Has someone at Sziget HQ given control of their Instagram to a cat that's currently just jumping on the keyboard and posting any old bollocks?

Shawn day tickets now at 85 euros. Think the undercard might be doing some heavy lifting, but he's obviously much more popular than I gave him credit for.

The last time he played, the crowd was huge.

Perhaps one of the biggest I've seen at Sziget.

little 16 yo girls audience ... 😓 same in every country lol

About ANYMA fially being on the mainStage : I'm so surprised ! I really thought the fact they didnt put the "Main Stage" mark on their insta storys meant he was going to play another stage ; since he's not a "huge" headliner (he is nothing like Garrix or Harris), I imagined he would be the headliner of the day on a different stage, while a solid "middle-average" Pop or Rock act would play main stage at the same time...

Well, now we know ! Anyma it is, but it will be so different experience than the 'Sphere' thing... to me it's like a Party Arena headliner --> going Main Stage ...

ANYMA not headlining the main stage, after being on the poster as headliner made no sense.

Should he be headlining Sziget? I would say so, sziget have had incredibly weak headliners in the past.

Especially as it's not the only festival he is headlining.

you're right, and I think maaybe , just MAYBE, his show will be very different from what I expect, and it might be enjoyable ! 😄

Anyway... waiting with impatience the next wave, which is usually the one with middle acts I really enjoy year after year ^^

I think Sziget gambled a little on Anyma's Sphere set going viral and it hasn't. Saturday day tickets usually sell really well but the line-up doesn't currently contain any names that casual music fans might recognise. Think we will get a couple of decent sized acts announced for the Saturday in next announcement.

Saturday will sell well overall, especially with the 3 day tickets(sat-mon) including post malone and chappel roan. The weekend trip to Budapest will hoover them up.

I think I saw your comment earlier, strange it got deleted. They are not even trying to convince anyone anymore I guess.
