Really strong undercards, good job sziget. Still they're probably not going tò be mainstream sub, I think we might expect One last announcement later this spring, don't we?

Agreed, I believe (at least) 1 more announcement is coming. If you look on the website where it shows day cards, for example first day has 5 subs while other days have 2-3 subs. Exciting!

The 5 subs is a bit misleading, as 2 of them are playing delta. I'd imagine there will be 1 more act main stage, except post malone. With that act being first on the day.

Interestingly no big names added for Shawn day is there still a possibility of mainstage Justice

It's the best selling day, I suspect they realised they didn't need to pay out for another mid-sized name when tickets were doing well enough already.

Sziget website says the headliners and subheadliners are all set. It means Empire of the sun (6th), Nelly Furtado (7th), Amelie Lens or Michael Kiwanuka (8th), FKA Twigs (9th), Rilés (10th), Portugal The Man (11th) are the subheadliners.

I thought Papa Roach was subheadliner on the first day

Riles as a sub is a joke in my opinion. Edit: I’d also assume that Little Simz and Tldp are also subs.

Amelie Lens is Delta District

Yeah Riles is the weakest link there. I think those two will either play 3rd down or revolut headliners

They can be. In my opinion empire of the sun is going to be the sub, but on the other days it is very clear who are going to be the subs if you go on their website. (If we can trust the website which says headliners and subs are all set!!)

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
