I prevail would be amazing and they have a big gap in August but I won't hold my breath.

They have 3 dates in Germany during Sziget, don't think they'll show up. Also, when was the last time Sziget booked HC/metalcore band? 2019?

Every year actually, but on the "petofi stage" lol 😉 (try "Lazarvs" for example)

Also from last year, we had Future Static on The Buzz stage (metalcore)

Plus, this year we already have Hanabi (metalcore) and Papa Roach  (nu metal).

I didn’t see the 3 dates but I guess they didn’t update their website.

We did also have Stain the Canvas in 2023. And musically they come as close as possible to I Prevail. But again I’m not holding my breath 🙂

Sziget been liking a few comments on insta asking for Chase and Status maybe it’s a hint they might be there ?

They also liked comments about 21P, and apparently there is no way that’s happening.

They honestly just do random sh*t. They probably have an intern interacting with people. There is not much tought behind it.

They also used Justin Timberlake gif when it was about the second lineup phase and even that meant nothing.

I'm personaly AFRAID of getting Empire of the Sun ... I know the majority here likes them, I understand, but to me this is only a 2 hits band 😕 lol... and these 2 hits are what, 10 years old ? lol sorry for the fans 😅

EDIT : I just looked, 17 years old, not 10 lol 😅 (and to be honest, it seems they have more hits.. ok guys i'm gonna trust you and give another chance to them lol...)

BUt if we're ok with old hits, I'd rather have Keane instead !! 😂

Just get placebo if we are going on that angle. 😃

Does this make Sziget even more unlikely, now the poster is out? Felt like a very optimistic wish already

I would have assumed it would be listed on the tour poster if they were playing it.

no reason they wouldn’t have been announced already if they were booked for sziget as they have announced the rest of their dates

I guess it depends. Obviously space for Sziget before Parades De Coura and they must be there on 13 or 14 due to having a date on 15. They could sub ASAP on 10, I think they're doing that at Paris. But, in honesty, I'm not holding my breath.

What do we think the chances are of me being able to see Shawn and Justice? Zero? Or can I make it work? Shawn is a big reason of me coming to Sziget as his European shows seem limited but also love Justice.

Normally A38 headliner is after main stage headliner so based on previous years you would be able to see both.

i managed to get Chvrches front row directly after 1975 ended in 2019.

thats if Justice Are headlining a38?

It’s gonna be one of THE best shows of Sziget I’m calling it now. I honestly dread how packed the tent will become especially because how this seems to be the most popular day overall. Imagine if they come on after Shawn. That tent will get fked up.

Does anyone remember when Infected mushroom played the Party Arena? That was brutal I thought we were gonna get crushed.

I hope this won’t get that bad especially it being an open tent.

Is there a chance they could schedule Shawn Mendes earlier and have Justice play a closing set?

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
