It seems Muse is still announcing some festivals. Do you think there is a chance to be confirmed for the 11th and be the final headliner?
They were confirmed today at opener

Maybe Alive decide to go to them as a last resort.  They are way bigger than Kings of Leon in Portugal

Friday night headliner probably...

I'm betting on Muse

or is a one off that they miracoulsly managed to get (but it would be weird for not Mad Cool getting them)

Or is Muse, that since announcing Opener the week before, became a good possibility

i really hope it will be Muse

Didn't they post something like 'something we dreamed about for a while'. Doesn't sound like Muse (big band, but also not a very special name).

Their motto for ALive is always around the word «dream»

Take it as a generic marketing phrase, instead of any clue

I said Muse because it's the only band at the moment with headliner material, still announcing some shows at festivals, and by the wording, it seems that it's some band that already performed at the festival. Muse performed @NosAlive 2015

But yes, it's just a guess, it can be a completely different band/singer...

at this stage you have to be thinking 3rd headliner. Muse seem likely.

Would be a PR disaster for them to tease something and then for it to be someone that 99% of the audience had not heard to.

Muse, O Rod, KOL would make a decent set of headliners and would make Friday

Justice
Muse
Fender

Girl in Red

Which is a very good day for my taste in music.

Why would anyone put a video of a (blurred) band on then announce this??  Very odd.

Yea they've consistently shot themselves in the foot with marketing for this.

I do think it makes sense for the stage to go: Fender - Justice - Anyma but they really hyped this one up. Also what was all that about 'waiting a long time for this' - for what reason did they have to wait???

holy sh*t , the online community is shitting all over this and rightfully so.

this years line up is simply terrible and i have no doubt that the sales are terrible to say the least.

wouldnt surprise me that there will be no sold out days this year.

only band i want to see is NIN and im waiting to buy a ticket because there will be A LOT of free tickets near the date from sponsers and sh*t.

just terrible...

Terrible and unexpected, this is definitely the worst lineup. I would be surprised if the 11th of July sold more than 15k tickets...

jul 10 - around 30k/35k
jul 11 - around 20k/25k
jul 12- around 20k/25k

no doubt there will be a lot of free tickets near the dates of the festival to help

Unfortunately it was someone that 99% of the audience had not heard to

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
