Actually think the Thursday and Saturday look good

Honestly, on the first day there isn't a single act listed that I would pay to see at their own gig. For my taste that is a real low for the festival.

(Borderline off-topic rant incoming)

I love St. Vincent but why would I pay a full day ticket to watch her and have to endure the rest? I'm tired of how this festival robs Portugal the chance of more solo shows. Matter of fact, ever since the pandemic ended, Porto has seen a huge reduction in the number of artists that come here when touring Portugal. Lisbon either has a stupid amount of festivals or has seemingly all the rights for solo shows for no good reason beyond, what I can only assume to be, lazy promotors.

I don't think Portugal has had as big of a number of music events within each year as it does now, but it somehow feels like there's less to see than there was pre-pandemic.

Is it really lazy promoters, or are solo shows in Portugal just not as profitable and thus more of a risk to put on?

See that doesn’t bother me with festivals.  I like seeing different things.  There’s only a select list of bends I’d pay and go to individual gigs so always happy to see others

I too have wondered that, but if that were the case we wouldn't have had the amount of shows we had before. Though I guess you could always argue that the costs are a lot higher now.

There are instances that steer me away from thinking that it is merely a financial issue. We had Tindersticks last year doing a full on portuguese tour through venues that normally would never see a name such as theirs.

Some names, like Baxter Dury, are announced for solo Lisbon shows and Porto gets nothing for no apparent good reason. Why wouldn't an artist be able to play LAV (for example) and Hard Club? That used to be the norm. Now the majority of this caliber just do one show in Lisbon and that's that

One possible reason could be that the increase in Hard Club's rent that led to the cancellation of Amplifest has also made concerts there unprofitable

That's a good point. I have been surprised by acts in the past (Lily Allen for example). Not hopeful, but i didn't overly mind Noah Khan when I had a listen and I always liked Avril Lavigne and I think O Rod does a bit of that kind of stuff - who knows.

Olivia is great live.

The tickets for Thursday sell out two times on Ticketline, but they add more. Maybe they are moving tickets from SeeTickets to Ticketline, which could probably mean that the sales abroad are not very good.

I don't like the overall line up, mas the day with KOL and NIN (and Future Island) seems pretty good to me.

Probably the only day that i'll go. I thnik that will average around 40k easy.

But Olivia Rodrigo i think will sell out that day

The 11th, i really don't know....

Let's not forget that many ticket are distributed by sponsors

There seems to be a shift in the type of music portuguese promoters are bringing to portugal these days. Unfortunately this is true. They are betting on bringing more brazilian, regatton type of artists which is a disgrace, a lot great bands and artists are touring europe this summer and they are going to almost all countries but not Portugal (the offspring , alanis , weezer, kaiser chiefs , robbie williams , sigur ros,Metallica, green day and many many more) we are left with sh*tty brazilian so called artists , i could go on a rant about it so i will leave with just this, its really unbelievable.

I can talk about what i know though, pearl jam hasnt come to portugal for the solo show since 2006 where they sold out 2 nights at now called MEO Arena. Ever since then they started to tour europe around june/july and have come to nos alive in 2007/2010/2018/2024. Its pretty clear that Álvaro covoes(owner of everything is new , the promoter behind NOS Alive)will only bring them to portugal and make them play NOS Alive even though they could easily sold out two nights at passeio marítimo de Algés(the place where NOS Alive is held) but he is a business man and knows that putting a band like pearl jam on the line up will sell out instantly not only 1 day tickets but 2 day and 3 day tickets aswell (happenned in 2018 and last year).

I think the Pearl Jam example is a good way of showing why this year has not really worked. Pearl Jam sell their day and sell the other two days, I think this year hardly anyone will have to buy a ticket for a day they don't really fancy to get a ticket for the band they way.

In my opinion, another problem with this festival is that the ticket price increase did not follow the lineup quality. In 2018, NOS alive had one of the best lineups, the 3 day passes cost ~150eurs, we had like 5-6 bands per day on main stage, but since 2019, the ticket price increase every year, the 3 day passes now cost around 199eurs plus taxes, and we only have like 4 bands per day on main stage (NOS).

I hope for 2026 they choose to follow a different direction from this year's lineup, but unfortunately, we will always be dependent of Madcool bookings too.

Well, it's not "fully" sold out. There are 3-day passes and 2-day passes for 10-11 and 10-12 available on Ticketline. The only thing "sold out" was the day tickets.

If three days pass and two days aren't sold out, we'll see more daily tickets for that day being sold one week before the festival.

I am looking for a hat from nos maybe 2015-2018 ish. It was a nos branded hat. White, floppy style with a string. And with rainbow stripes on the underside of it. I had one but lost it on holiday last year and I loved it. Have scoured the internet for resale ones but no joy. If anyone has one I could buy I would be forever grateful 🙏

Personally I had no time for KOL so if they somehow finesse Muse or Linkin Park for example that would be massive.

Realistically, I think they'll bump up NIN to the headliner and get something else underneath. One Bullet For My Valentine please.
