They are probably waiting for the headliners of BBK and Madcool to be announced simultaneously (1 from bbk and another from madcool).

I think we might have some big names this week, the first week of December usually has a big headline to sell out as a Christmas present, friday in my guess, let's see.

I'm curious about the rock band, it might be the first NOS Alive in many years (except for the pandemic) that I won't go

We've gone from the often discussed idea in this thread of Muse and Green Day to it now being Muse or Green Day and soon probably neither huh.

I don't mind Kings of Leon either tbf - I saw KoL in Leeds in June and they were rather good. But I appreciate that's not something everyone might endorse.

one hit wonder but they are gonna headline for sure.

only one headliner remaining...

guess im skipping NOS Alive next year

Until we see their position in the poster, we can't say anything

They might be headliners, or be in the position like Black Keys were in 2023, subheadlining a bigger band (in that case it was Red Hot Chilli Peppers)

But tbh, if Kings of Leon are headliners, it will be a big letdown

also forgetting some absolute bangers on all the early albums

The Bucket on their second album is imo their best song, while King of the Rodeo has been a song I've had a soft spot for and although it missed something without the keyboard intro in Leeds, On Call is still a goodie. Bucket & OC are also both UK top 20 singles tbf.

Admittedly I'm aware the big two on Only By The Night are in a different category for how much attention they got. Given the sheer amount of dad rock cover bands I've seen doing it locally, I'm aware of their popularity being a different level.

Saw them at V Festival in, I think, 2007. Awful. Really dull, no engagement with the crowd and I didn't enjoy it at all.

However, their early stuff remains a good listen and I have had a go at their newest album which I liked. So a second chance for KoL. Still don't think they are a "good" headliner, but there are not many of those about anymore.

    • I was so lucky yesterday, disappointed of course not to see Massive Attack, but gorgeous sets from Blood Orange, Caroline, Panda Bear, and Father John Misty was a real highlight. The half of Geese i saw was mint too.   I wanted to see overmono but couldnt hack it anymore.   But now, its Friday, I'm In Love
