NOS Alive 2025

Disappointing though. Not many tickets will be sold off the back of what we already have.

I've got a 3 day pass as we're going regardless and needed to book flights whilst cheap. Unless the pull something out of the bag though, ticket sales might be slow. Green Day would shift numbers, I cannot think of anyone else who is definitely on the road in Europe next year who can shift the number of tickets that Pearl Jam did, for example.

not having announcements yesterday and today was expected.

yesterday was GnR pre-sale and today general sale.

im hoping for some big names next week to help sell tickets for x-mas.

if they dont give any big names until x-mas this might be one of the worse editions of the festival to date

Me too, this will be my 5th time at NOS and we get flights, air bnb and tickets booked before any bands are announced. This year we skipped the Friday and stayed in Lisbon, but the Saturday was worth the 3 Day Pass cost alone, Pearl Jam were amazing!

Next year i have no pull to the main stage at all for the first night. However what i do like is how NOS opens me up to new bands, some i have never heard of but have millions or billions of streams on Spotify.

I would love the Fontaines DC to be there, i saw them in Leeds last week and they were amazing, but it seems this is not likely as they are headlining Primavera sounds in Porto, but does this write them off? Surely it can be like the UK when bands headline multiple festivals throughout the summer.

I will be there again next year regardless, but not for a while have i looked at one of the announements and had that "WOW" moment. Probably for me it's only been for The Cure and Pearl Jam

Fontaines DC is on Primavera Sound, so it won't be on NOS Alive.

I hope you have a lot of fun here in Portugal.

We do the same, get everything booked in advance. It’ll be our 4th year in a row. We trust Nos to curate a really diverse and interesting line up. They’ve not let us down yet.

St. Vincent and Amyl & the Sniffers are the stand outs for me so far. St.Vincent is the only artist I’ve seen who gives me Prince vibes, I’m a massive fanboy, I think she’s that good!

Intrigued to see how the line up fills out, but we’ll have the best time whoever plays.

I saw St Vincent in London in June and despite a horrific stomach ache from something bad I'd eaten earlier in the day, I thought she was wicked. So I would like to see her again sans stomach problem.

Is she enough to entice me over to Lisboa? Probably not. This was one I really wanted to come too as I like the city and hear great things about the event, but it's just not clicking into place the way I was hoping for. Ah well.

I doubt any big name will be announced, mostly because, billboards have been put up, both in Portugal and other countries (london, in picture), if there were bigger names coming next week, they would be on billboards…

unfortunately for Alvaro Covoes, Kings of Leon was the big name…

maybe lets hope for super bock super rock?

The posters are clearly missing a headliner. No idea what they are playing at.

"Come to our festival, we've only got two headliners so don't forget to buy a 3 Day ticket."

Unless they plan to go BIG on day tickets for the other day. Coldplay, AC/DC or whatever and treat it as a case of "hey we've got this event too".

Madness

Strange.

well I guess we are going to have updates this week, mad cool will announce their full line-up, just like they did last year, and the year before, and like always nos alive will do the same with more conformations and a “first” proper billboard, I hope

Last year they had two moments of announcement

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
