Luís Montez Owner of the Arena Alantico Company is the same owner of the Super Bock Super Rock Festival and it is known that at this moment Luis Montez left the Super Bock Super Rock Festival and it is not yet known who the new promoter is... it will be the Live Nation?

I head from a friend that it would be Pic-Nic, but I'm not sure how reliable his source is

Pic-Nic stay with SBSR?
I admit that I've already thought about it, I don't really believe it. I think JC doesn't want to go to the South.

Doubt it is pic nic

are we sure mnc is not doing sbsr?
they still have it in their insta bio

and sbsr has been very active on social media lately, i think they will announce 1st headliner before december

i really hope im wrong but i just hope dynamic price isnt coming along with Live Nation entering Portugal.

That wont happen

Live nation is coming

not ticketmaster

we thankfully still have regulations on ticketing prices, as most eu countries

Live nation acquired Blueticket also but there are ticket prices regulations in Portugal, highly doubt ticketmaster is coming

Clearly shows I have room to educate myself given I didn't know there was no Ticketmaster Portugal. And I say this as someone with French and Italian Ticketmaster accounts from previous dalliances out there.

With Paredes de Coura announcing next week, is NOS Alive likely to carry on drip-feeding or might they do "OK, here's who else we got" splurge?

In my opinion, they are not really competitors. Paredes de Coura has its own vibe, while NOS Alive prefers bigger names mixed with what is around, with no fixed criteria.

Live Nation today received authorization to purchase Portuguese promoter Ritmos & Blues. (Rhythms & Blues has no festivals in Portugal)

Live Nation also today had authorization to purchase the company Arena Atlântico, Arena Atlântico owns our largest arena (MEO Arena)

Luís Montez Owner of the Arena Alantico Company is the same owner of the Super Bock Super Rock Festival and it is known that at this moment Luis Montez left the Super Bock Super Rock Festival and it is not yet known who the new promoter is... it will be the Live Nation?

I was talking and the news came out.

Alright guys, I'm pretty much officially giving up hope on Green Day playing NOS Alive next year. I just spoke to some guys who know people and they THINK that Green Day's European dates are all booked, so there won't be any more dates announced. (Just a reminder that this is just what I've been told, I'm not saying it's 100% true or official.)

I think their tour is all booked too, but you don't sound reliable haha
Then again, I'm just some guy.

Take it easy, buddy, I put a reminder in my message just to save you the trouble of writing something like this. I'm not trying to sound "reliable" or trying to convince you of anything, I talked to people in the Bay Area who know the band's surroundings well, and even they aren't sure about it, but that's what it seems like based on the way the band acts. I'm not giving any news, just sharing that there are rumors and guesses that there won't be any new dates. I hope they're wrong, but that's it.

If they had Greenday, there'd be no reason to hold back to announcement now when others have announced them weeks/months ago...  Same with LP

    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
    • All I'm asking for is Rancid
    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
