Well wasnt expecting Hugh Jackman however i think that could actually be pretty decent

Even for fans of Jackman, the actual day as a whole could be a horror show. I can just imagine an undercard of theatre musical singers and endless jazz hands. Special guest's like Syndey Christmas, Keala Settle etc, or I just being mean?

To be honest, I am a little worried as my other half loves Jackman and may just want to drag me to this for the pure fun of knowing I will not like it. I bloody hated the greatest showman.

i am curious as to who will be supporting, musical singers, pop acts I really dont know.

No way to really know I suppose. I'm no massive Hugh Jackson fan either. He sold out the O2 arena in London for 6 nights doing this sort of thing so you'd imagine they have a fair idea of what they're at.

Who knows, could be a disaster but then it might not be. Not a bad thing to try something different every now and again and mix it up. It's certainly a way to get people talking about the festival though and promote the other nights at the same time. I enjoyed the Greatest Showman and am currently in the same boat of the other half looking to attend this.

Ah well an experience if nothing else

While he is not my thing, I get that others will enjoy his set and expect it will sell well. I am just fascinated as to who the undercard will be, obviously the mandatory Cuban Brothers will be there. It's just a shame they did not add some names to the initial poster release.

Am I right in thinking BST is over 3 weekends next year? Is that always the case? I always thought it was 2…….

It was 2, until a few years ago.

When the BBC decided to take their annual "in the Park" concerts on the road outside of London, AEG (successfully) applied to change the Hyde Park event licence so that they could move those slots to BST, giving them 9 event days over 3 weekends

Expect this to sell very well. Sheer number of dates on the arena run, increased profile to younger generations after Deadpool & Wolverine success, relative scarcity of an exclusive. Is this one of the two lower-attendance dates, do we know?

Wouldn't have thought so considering how well he sold at o2 previously. They could make Zach a lower one if the second day doesn't sell well or one of the next set of acts, at least one of those won't be a 65k show

The Cure seem to be fairly active at the moment, wonder if they might announce something?

Wish they would as their last show there was one of the best BST shows I have been to, as already said its doubtful.

Hoping maybe they may want to do a few more smallish gigs to show case the album before a proper tour, just so I can go through the bitter experience of failing to get tickets like the latest shows.

Seriously doubt any Deadpool fans will be attracted to this, and if so they're going to be seriously pissed off.

The troxy gig was their only ticketed show this year I remember them saying. They also don't really need to showcase the album, they already played 5/8 songs of it in 2022/2023

Won't be anything until next year I assume.

I also doubt there will be anything, I was just hoping that they may have enjoyed playing and might decide to do a few more small shows.

There could be a few small ones - still think there's a Blackpool date in the pipeline.

But don't believe they'd come attached to a festival. A big Hyde Park show isn't beyond the realm of possibility for when they tour properly, unless he feels ambitious enough to go in on a stadium date.
