  1. Hi...... I read somewhere (I think from the Ticket company) that it was going to take 3 months (no idea why that long).......
  2. Hi All........ my first time at Blue Dot this year........ is there much more music to be announced? Having seen Keeley Forsyth announced for EOTR, I'm hoping she'll be added here too Thanks
  3. Yep, I'd say I was a Hopkins fan, however that was the first time live, your words 'fucking brilliant night' are 100% spot on ha
  4. Can only agree, they (he) were magnificent, and Jon Hopkins afterwards, we had a great time in the tent.....
  5. I'd forgotten they were there, almost didn't believe the comments, had to check, and I'm a pretty big Primal Scream fan (even got a Screamadelica tattoo)....... however as a mate pointed out to me, we were watching Spiritualized followed by Jon Hopkins in the tent, and that is possibly my finest memory of APE......... Spiritualized, to me, certainly better at APE than End Of The Road.......
  6. Yeah, I don't think I could name 5 (3?) Moby songs, and I remember 'Go' first time it was out........ however the following is ridiculously good....... would like to hear about any other good Moby Tunes........ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Na8LvGvk3XI
  7. I'm in a little WhatsApp group with people I've been to APE with the last 2 years (The National, Chemicals)..... this year we're looking at Tame Impala (Holy Fuck and Kelly Lee Owens grabbing me)......... When I just posted re The Kooks, the stand out reaction was 'I'd rather shit in my hands and clap'......... personally I don't see that comment as an overreaction
  8. Ha...... member jawas........ and AT-ATs........member Eddie's Gun
  9. Apologies for contributing to the many questions, but is there much to do at Blue Dot after the headliners have finished? Does it run late? Thanks
  10. i'm almost tempted to start a thread lamenting this years festivals......... I go to one every year, to be honest usually End of the Road (I can't go this year, slightly later date means clash with daughter's birthday, plus her starting 'big school'), and it's an amazing festival...... because I can't go, I've been looking at other festivals, and I can't believe what's on offer......... since when were The Kooks headliners, I laughed at them when they were popular, so what next, The Fratellis headling somewhere? I am a music snob, so logically if I couldn't do EOTR, I'd go to Green Man (despite it always raining when I've been before).... but I'm not convinced by their line up........ Bearded Theory looked promising for a while with The Flaming Lips (whom I get are more style over substance, but live they are good)...... I emailed BT about Holy Fuck being in country around then........ and who do they announce as a headliner, Primal Scream...... !!!! Now I think PS are one of the most innovative bands around, I have a Screamadelica tattoo, but you can see then everywhere these days........ there's no exciting line ups out there (apart, possibly, from Lost Village, but I'm scared to go there coz everyone looks off their heads.... seriously....... and this is coming from someone who would say they were the most out of their head at last years EOTR, that's 14,000 people)...... But imagine a festival where Tame Impala were headliners one night, Massive Attack another...... wow........on the bill, Holy Fuck, Kelly Lee Owens, Young Fathers....... I guess I'm saying I wish I could take my tent ha
