It's right next to the field if it's the same place as last year. The pickup may be elsewhere though.

I’m really not bothered about missing acts (you’re never going to see everything anyway) I would just love to be there!

It’s often being finished off all day Tuesday, I’ve never seen it open before Wednesday! That’s not to say they won’t manage it this year, but I’d absolutely not depend on it

Someone on FB glasto crew group said it always opens Tuesday night at 18:00pm and they always make it there as is a tradition

You have to set it up on a laptop or computer first and then it sends notifications through to the app

Avalon inn definitely open on either Monday or Tuesday in 2023. The only time I've ever been able to make it in the upstairs bit.

Yeah it was open Tuesday evening last year too - had a couple of pints there while it was quiet.

Just a heads up I heard back from critical waste.

After emailing them privately they put my name on a reserve list. This morning I had an email saying spaces had opened up so I expressed interest.

Not heard back yet though but the most promising opportunity I’ve had so far!

I was a bit concerned til i got the email, i'm not too fussed about getting/not getting earlies but because the training is now outsourced, i didnt have my reassuring green tick on the profile 😄  i'll be rocking up first knockings on the monday at 09:59

Thanks for this update! I've sent them an enquiring email now as well.

 

Hopefully that I can provide a personal recommendation from someone else on the recycling crew will be some help!
