INmusic 2025

To keep this threat going and start some speculations about stages and slots:

I put together announcement posts reactions, combined number of likes from Fb & Insta.

Of course, this is not a completely representative sample and is influenced by a number of factors, but it still says something

Massive Attack: 9960

KOL: 6050

Kiwanuka: 2.7K

Fontaines DC: 2620

St. Vincent; 1820

Yard act: 590

MA are perfect INmusic booking. Fontaines are missing bigger fanbase in region to be solid headliners, mayce co-head with another solid size name? Kiwanuka seems popular, he is also listed above St. Vincent on festival web, he might be on main stage this time? Just like St.Vincent was in 2018, any chance she will "downgrade" to word stage or is 20.30-22h main stage slot nearly full?

This year will be my first time at INmusic, I'm pretty happy with the lineup so far.

I'm currently in two minds whether to camp or just stay in the city though, can anyone who has been before shed light on how easy it is to travel between the festival site and town and advise what time public transport runs until?

Thanks.

But how? Am I out of the loop on something? I know them from that one hit they did waaaaay back, but apart from that, have they done anything remarkable? The definition of a one hit wonder. Feels like the US version of the Wombats in that sense.

I know they're still a thing in the US for some reason.

You pretty much awnserd it your self here, but think more of the kooks than wombats in terms of popularity

Which is still remarkable, because The Kooks have got quite a few hit songs, even if they are still from way back. FTP has literally one recognizable song. It's crazy how long they can survive off of that. Unless I am missing something.

I'm absolutely no fan but It appears both of their first two albums made the US chart top 10, which is no mean feat. I guess someone must like them...

Thinking of doing this. Any tips for accommodation etc.?

I always book an apartment nearby but you can stay everywhere since Uber and Bolt work very well and are really really cheap. Just walking 15 mins outside of the island and you can catch them.

Thinking of staying in Sundial Boutique Hotel, its on the other side of Sawa river, is the crossing/bridge open during night time?

I'd say go to Petrine Ulica and take Bolt or Uber.

Best and easiest option for sure.

@Kusy

Alternatively, you could walk from entrence on the macadam along the river up to station Savski most (20 minutes) and take the night tram 31 to cross a brige, but it is like one every 50 minutes or something like that.

    • Will that work for arenas with seats? People will have their tickets on their phones and needs to find their seat.
    • Excellent new release from overpass today - well worth checking out.
    • Having lived here for 2 and a half years now my take is that security, safety and organisation are just not a priority in Spain. It's not even exclusive to festivals. It's a part of everything.   Simple example. I'm Irish and in Ireland if you assemble a construction site you have to adhere to a lot of regulations about cordoning off the site so nobody can enter and get injured. Here, you're walking down the foot path and suddenly without any warning you're in a construction site. If not, you'll suddenly find yourself directed onto the road to get around the construction.   Life is more laid back here in general. Pros and cons.
