Anybody else go through their camping stuff again at the weekend for no other reason than it reminds you in a couple of weeks we will be there...

We're caravanners and live in it full time over the summer from May - September so everything is already in there 😆

We have just moved back into it so been cleaning, sorting and now in it at our first event of the summer, before we move up to Catton on Sunday 😁

Does tearing the house apart for three hours trying to find the phone bank chargers count?

Tbh I'd expect Thursday lunchtime to be broadly ok.

The number of Wednesday arrivals will be a minority, and on Thursday I'd think of lunchtime as still being pretty early with most arriving during the afternoon.

I think the music is starting Thursday lunchtime rather than in the evening, so people may turn up earlier?

Soooo bloody antsy for the effing stage splits. Was really hoping they'd be out before this weekend so I can sort my clashfinder out.

Anyone with insider knowledge know if it'll be out today?

I have zero insider knowledge but the clashfinder that was available yesterday (even though it was nonsense) is currently hidden, suggesting it's being edited. I think the guy who updates it has access to the day splits so new could be incoming today..... I hope!

It does suggest there is an issue given Facebook polite requests for a timeline for day splits. Hopefully not, but whilst not angry, definitely disappointed ☹️

What do you mean?

Planning for the gaps has allowed us to see bands we hadn't come across before - this has proved brilliant over the years (Saint Agnes last year, just one example). This takes time & builds the excitement. The organisers must realise this & surely would issue day splits if there wasn't an issue?

I was referring to your comment about Facebook, theres nothing on the official FB page about day splits.

I think he means people are asking for them on comments of official posts and being met with silence. They used to be quite proactive at replying to comments.

That's probably reading way too much in to this.

There's plenty potential reasons why they might schedule something a certain way, and crucially most of those reasons won't even be visible to us - whether it's logistical, or marketing, or some other reason. It could simply come down to one persons preference. Relax and we'll get it sooner or later.

I’m starting to get behind the idea of just turning up and finding out to be honest. Makes it more exciting sort of. Old school festival vibe.

pain in the arse as well mind.

That was fine when a festival didn’t cost so much that it was people’s big holiday.

    • My wife works for a music company, they have an allocation already.  They run a ballot for it early next year.
    • This is my guess too.    2028 festival breaks the £400 barrier.
