Presumably we aren't getting another headliner today. So to stay in line with the usual we would need to the next headliners next week and week after.

Most likely is Headliner on Friday

Headliner next week (either Weds or Friday)

Batch of names Weds 20th

Any chance for Manchester Orchestra ??

It's been on the top of my wishlist, so that would be enough for me next year. Then everything else will just be frosting on the cake 🙂

Without any limitations of who's touring or not, this would be my top 5 choices;

Manchester Orchestra

Eminem

Kaizers Orchestra

Placebo

The Glorious Sons

Wonder if we’re getting something as part of a co-ordinated announcement today? Nos Alive seemed to be teasing an announcement last night so maybe it’s Olivia or someone announcing a few dates at once?

Or perhaps we can expect a small batch at 4pm (Belgium time)?

I’m pretty sure Olivia is being announced Monday for BST

O.Rod and Linkin Park for the headline slots?

or am I going too big

It's not too strong, you would expect at least that. I'm not bothered for LP at this point really, it's just not the same deal. I actually don't even know if I'd go and see it now as I feel I'm almost going to just see Mike get a group together to cover their songs.

Trying to keep up with the rumours before next week. Realistically are we looking at something like the below?

Olivia Rodrigo -Oscar and the Wolf - Fontaines DC

Green Day - The Black Keys - Weezer

Sam Fender - Kings of Leon - Noah Kahan

Linkin Park - Deftones - Turnstile

I think you'll be lucky to have Fontaines not sub

If Fontaines are sub it’ll be to Linkin Park on the Thursday (I’d guess)

Thursday is typically the hard day to sell so doubt they’d do a Olivia Rodrigo and Fontaines DC top two

Personally I’d be surprised if Olivia and LP aren’t the final 2 headliners.   Think it gives a nice varied pool of acts over the weekend.

Hopefully we’ll get maybe another 10 acts over the next 10 days or so before tickets appear.

Haha that's very much a I'm taking credit for that haha. I think we might have known it was happening previously though.

Thought you believed Supre who was saying the wrong dates?

Anyway… as always people can believe what they wish.  That’s why other places are better.

    • Interesting to read. It's mostly why we stopped going a few years back even though it's the nearest big festival to home. The post-exams timing and location makes it a rites of passage first festival for people in a big area. Understandably that leads to a bit of giddiness. Think lineup would need to be a lot more my cup of tea to be enticed back. Friends who are there are having a good time tho and no rain is a good thing for up there.
    • I honestly didn't know it had, I still thought it was where the view overlooked the lake and view.   I think my decision not to attend this year at least was justified. Biffy was the big draw but after Finsbury I knew they wouldn't play what I want to hear again and well work also got in the way. Believed interesting to hear if Libertines were any good as they were also a pull but Sunday did nothing for me really with all my acts on Friday and Saturday.
