Biden now publicly saying will not supply weapons to Israel if they do this Rafah invasion. He needs to act tough for the sake of the region, but also for his own electoral chances.

Only certain weapons I believe. Still delivering the others

yes, I mean I'm sure Israel have enough in stock to do what need to do in Rafah...but it is the symbolism...US support not unconditional. Netanyahu has a choice, give in to US and international pressure and risk his coalition falling apart and elections and probably his downfall., or carry on and do a big f**k you to the world.

Israel go into Rafah whilst everyone is distracted by eurovision.

no, Hamas attack Israel while everyone is distracted by Eurovision: Israel wins Eurovision.

I would say this but locking the Eurovision thread is lame. The Israel situation is the biggest part of it whether people like it or not.

Bickering? Seriously wtf. Whatever the day it is, it is the main story of Eurovision. We were arguing whether Israel should be in the competition, but I guess that isn't allowed in this glittery pretend everything is ok world.

Most of us weren't even arguing, just discussing. Only one person resorted to getting toxic.

You said that the deaths of thousands of children were good and are now drawing up your knickers and are calling me toxic because I called you a c**t.

Wow, you truly are the White Knight Gaza needs, lol.

But no, no I didn't say that.

You're one of those people who focus on the semantics of a single adjective and completely miss the point of what I was saying.

I hope everyone here is more intelligent than your portrayal of what I said, because that's one of the dumbest takes I've sever seen on these boards.

Even dumber than your Pro Putin bizarre world comment.

Honestly, the people running cover for a terrorist organisation and using a terrorist organisation's "official" numbers and believing them is mind-blowing.

Now let's here an actual argument instead of weird Instagram/X gotcha-quips.

I think her ability to perform so well given the anti-Semitism going on outside and sympathisers for a terrorist organisation is pretty amazing.

They were protesting about what Israel is doing in Gaza...unless you think that is all being exaggerated by an antisemitic media and an antisemitic UN.

Thats the way both sides think sadly. One side think a 20 year old girl is responsible for the israeli governments actions the other all palestinians responsible for the actions of Hamas.

    • Have you tried Anna von Hausswolff yet? Great singer, and she's from Gothenburg so guess she'll be extra excited to show her skills, especially after she unfortunately had to cancel her early summer dates.    Different style, but Oklou for me was the highlight of Primavera (apart from Geese), really enjoyable relaxed music.
    • A few bigger acts that did other similar festivals this year but not Truck, wouldn't be surprised to see one or two of these (if they're touring):   Reytons The Streets Blossoms Sophie-Ellis Bextor Rick Astley Scissor Sisters Dizzee Rascal   Truck on the undercard seems to rotate a lot of it every 2/3 years, expect to see some of these (if they're touring): Yard Act Sports Team Sea Girls Pale Waves Fat Dog Peace Swim Deep Courting   Hope Westside Cowboy and Radio Free Alice are booked again and get some bigger slots next year
    • I read a reliable source saying there's not enough time to stress test and have worked through any major financial decisions between now and then.   So guarantees this budget will just be tinkering at the edges only.
    • Thanks @sisco. Looking forward to it!
    • Looking like will be bringing a 2-3 month old to Glastonbury next year
