Police commissioner person on TV kind of indicating that bloke who did it was known to them and not linked to terrorism.

Iran in a bit of a pickle...needs to look like it is doing something, but knows it would be a disaster if actual war with Israel (and US) broke out.

Yep, looks like missiles have been launched. Have to hope they bring down these drones and missiles and then someone needs to step in and de-escalate this sh*t.

Israel's defences will probably sort the missiles and drones, normally deals with Hamas missiles from Gaza without several hours advance warning.

quite possibly cos a lot of the middle east airspace is open to them,  could fly in from Cyprus, but also think there might be raf in Jordan,Bahrain - perhaps a carrier out there too.

I don't know, not sure they want an Israeli retaliation and further escalation. More a show that they have the capability to hit Israel and are willing to do it so back off.

Something needs to be done starting with a solution to Palestine.
