tories getting hammered in QT tonight despite Fiona Bruces best efforts ... they are done well and truly

yep, country is ready for change, and the change they'll go for will be a safe-ish option of labour rather than taking a punt on something new and untried and unknown , such as reform or greens, or galloway.

the change people want is a change that will improve this f**ked country, its known that labour can deliver change to improve on the tory f**k-ups,  but greens and reform are untested and uncertain in what they can do.

there needs to be a nothing to lose feeling for either of them to break thru, a change of voting system won't make people want to take that risk- they're on that outside cos they're not wanted and not because the voting system makes it difficult to win.

3 MPs, right?...2 were because of antisemitism allegations, 1 was because of harassment charges.

Kate Osamor didn't say anything Antisemitic. The lesson of the Holocaust was meant to be "never again" for everyone not just some people.

Diane was making a comment about passing albeit in a clumsy way. Nothing Antisemitic about it and she swiftly apologised for any misunderstanding. Had she been white everybody would have been falling over themselves to welcome her back in the party.

Steve Reed and Neil Coyle both said much worse things and are back in the party. Starmer has a problem with Black women. A lot of white men do sadly.

I said allegations...not arguing they were antisemitic...but Labour are trying to stamp out anything that could be perceived as antisemitic because of recent history.

Abbott's letter was weird and dumb. I think she should have whip restored, but she probably won't because she's likely seen as disloyal and a problem. I can see Osamor having her whip restored.

and then there's arguing what is racist, what is antisemitic, what is islamophobic (or even if islamaphobic should be used). On and on...

I wish people would simplfy it and use the word 'Bigotry' - a once size capture all word for being a twat to others who are different to you or those they are picking on.

Would save the endless arguements about what is racist etc that as you say just go on and on and on
