Never seen so many tickets on resale website as this point this early.

Arguably the worst line up Download has ever had, though that is subjective of course. The headliners are fine but the support bill is dire in my opinion.

I think 2024 was worse. This year headliners overall rubbish, better undercard....for Friday and Saturday anyway. For my tastes, I don't think Download has ever booked a Friday like it, but at the same time I wouldn't expect them too. I completely understand going by years gone by how it wouldn't scream weekend ticket to many.

The Offspring have got a big history and a catalogue to arguably match, plus stateside acts are always a bit more expensive for logistics matters. Aware it is the way of the world right now, but Architects should have been starting around the £35 mark at a push.

Not for an arena tour though I'm mot sure what the cheapest tickets are.

Group camping?

It's where they try and persuade people to pay for a reserved area for them to camp with their friends. Honestly they will try and monetize anything.

They're selling group camping? Haven't heard about that 😳

Announced yesterday.

Had to look up that group camping - a 6x6m plot would be just under £300, and 10x10m would be five hundred quid 😄 good christ alive, thats blown my mind to bits. fifty quid would be reasonably justifiable, anything on top of that is a hideous disgrace

I mean I suppose it's not too different to watch other festivals doing guaranteeing to camp with your mates but it's not like Download really has to do that. It does feel like a desperate move to sell more tickets.

Group camping seems pretty pointless if you get in when it opens

Got in on doors last year and there was more than enough space for 4 of us to pitch In a circle in red camp

I'm amazed they've gone with this given the reaction and u turn with reading and Leeds last year. Even more so given the download fanbase are a lot more loyal, and more vocal.

Is it an actual issue or is it a money making thing? It’ll be interesting to see how the four new free camping zones are applied at Reading and Leeds this year and how many people go for it.

If Paul Heaton can do it at £35 across the board in arenas, no reason why it can't be starting there for nearly every British act at arena level, in my honest opinion.

😹Hilarious. Can't blame them for trying it on. Bet someone will be daft enough to go for it.

Where did he start tickets at £35 in arenas? His own gigs are generally £45 and while I absolutely agree with you on where pricing should be, Paul Heaton is not the same size as Architects are as a band even if I do prefer him. Paul Heaton is not playing slots that Architects do at festivals outside of the norths of Sheffield, Manchester etc.

    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
    • Yeah, I admit that a small part of me felt relieved when they announced that MA are canceled.. But on the positive side- got to see Florence Road afterall, and they were great
    • Glad I could take the €3 bus to Playa Catalunya! Hope y'all warm and dry up.
