You said more likely Sunday. To be honest my post could have just said Saturday more likely as not 3 days in row would have sufficed lol.

@mufcok what do you make of this suggestion that Olivia won't be Friday after your info?

I was told specifically Friday, but I can revisit. I see the day as largely irrelevant, personally, with any headliner (until clashes become apparent later down the line).

FWIW I had info on 'the third' headliner. It's not substantial enough for me to share/put my neck on the line though, so I won't be sharing until it comes back with more substance behind it. The name has been mentioned in this thread.

Sorry, appreciate that's some Monday carrot dangling.

I can't help that. As I say, if/when I get more I will share. Not gonna be throwing names around when I'm not sure, not into that.

Whilst the place it's come from should be solid, he's also been wrong, on ocassion, in the past - that's enough for me to fully trust it (or put money on at the bookies, as I briefly considered)

Oh, not a criticism, not at all! My apologies if it felt like that.

Hahaha nah it's fine. My fault for dangling said carrot, though I won't be saying if someone chucks the name in - it's not headliner bingo 😅

Will continue to dig on it and share if/when I have something more

There's 191 pages! Who's going to make a list of every name mentioned.

If i may ask - has it been mentioned recently like past 10-20 pages?

What, you mean you don't have 'when was name mentioned' spreadsheet? 😂

Yes, to your question.

Reading between the lines this seems to strengthen the case for it not to be the three newbies.

So its an O-Rod / Fred or Fender / Rihanna or Stevie or Eminem (rather than O-Rod / Fred / Fender)

I'd be very surprised if it's O-Rod, Fender and Fred in whatever combination. It's a move after the gamble last year I don't see them making unless again Rihanna and Stevie say no. Genuinely think Eminem will go for money but happy to be proved wrong.

Was just going to pop up here suggested Green Day back on the table based on those dates.  If they are in line, then with 2 of the youngsters - O-Rod, Fred... and Fender I think we have a pretty strong and balanced trio.  Personally, I'd say that taking Fender out of that equation works best.

Download is more or less confirmed by Download itself.

Download already released that pretty less than subtle hint that Greenday were headlining

What if they do both given Glastonbury will be sold out by November?, and the alternative was Download booked Slipknot again or someone that wasn't ready yet and suffered.

    • Me too.  Reckon they must have more this year.   Not bad is it - ended up paying same price as this year.  It still represents great value for me.  Well, until I check my bank account the Monday after the weekend.
    • Well mayors have more powers to do that sh*t...but they have to make the numbers add up.
    • We'll see. Bristol and Leeds are both massively overdue big public transport investment - 2 of the cities with the worst transport infrastructure per capita in Western Europe. If this works to help support investment projects great and fair play to Burnham.
    • The Bródy Day was his idea because Sziget has always been late when it comes to this kind of concert. They would only organize farewell performances or tribute shows after an artist had passed away. Since Bródy is one of the country's greatest singer-songwriters, they wanted to honor him while he is still alive. (He didn't say it exactly like that, but the man is 80 and has just stopped playing large concerts.) He never understood why anyone would focus exclusively on one generation, especially Gen Z, who have less disposable income, drink less, and are, in his words, "afraid of partying." He explained that in the past, people loved festivals because of the nonstop partying, whereas many younger people today find that experience overwhelming or exhausting. That's one of the reasons why Sziget will introduce more chill zones and sensory-friendly spaces. They also want to attract older generations, who are generally more willing and able to spend money. The Sziget Icons days are aimed at this audience, and in the future they hope to create a more balanced lineup that appeals to people over 35 as well.   It was a long interview. If anything else comes to mind, I'll share it.
